The son<01121> of Abishua<050>, the son<01121> of Phinehas<06372>, the son<01121> of Eleazar<0499>, the son<01121> of Aaron<0175> the chief<07218> priest<03548>:
7:6 這<01931>以斯拉<05830>從巴比倫<04480><0894>上來<05927>(8804)，他是<01931>敏捷的<04106>文士<05608>(8802)，通達耶和華<03068>─以色列<03478>　神<0430>所<0834>賜<05414>(8804)摩西<04872>的律法書<09002><08451>。王<04428>允准<05414>(8799)他<09001>一切<03605>所求的<01246>，是因耶和華<03068>─他　神<0430>的手<09003><03027>幫助他<05921>。
This Ezra<05830> went up<05927>(8804) from Babylon<0894>; and he was a ready<04106> scribe<05608>(8802) in the law<08451> of Moses<04872>, which the LORD<03068> God<0430> of Israel<03478> had given<05414>(8804): and the king<04428> granted<05414>(8799) him all his request<01246>, according to the hand<03027> of the LORD<03068> his God<0430> upon him.

7:10 {<03588>}以斯拉<05830>定志<03559>(8689)<03824>考究<09001><01875>(8800)遵行<09001><06213>(8800){<0853>}耶和華<03068>的律法<08451>，又將律例<02706>典章<04941>教訓<09001><03925>(8763)以色列人<09002><03478>。
For Ezra<05830> had prepared<03559>(8689) his heart<03824> to seek<01875>(8800) the law<08451> of the LORD<03068>, and to do<06213>(8800) it , and to teach<03925>(8763) in Israel<03478> statutes<02706> and judgments<04941>.
7:11 祭司<03548>以斯拉<05830>是通達<05608>(8802)耶和華<03068>誡命<01697><04687>和賜<05921>以色列<03478>之律例<02706>的文士<05608>(8802)。亞達薛西<0783>王<04428>賜<05414>(8804)給他們<09001>{<0834>}諭旨<05406>，上面<02088>寫著<06572>說：
Now this is the copy<06572> of the letter<05406> that the king<04428> Artaxerxes<0783> gave<05414>(8804) unto Ezra<05830> the priest<03548>, the scribe<05608>(8802), even a scribe<05608>(8802) of the words<01697> of the commandments<04687> of the LORD<03068>, and of his statutes<02706> to Israel<03478>.
7:12 「諸王<04430>之王<04430>亞達薛西<0783>，達於祭司<03549>以斯拉<09001><05831>通達天上<08065>{<01768>}　神<0426>律法<01882>大德<01585>(8752)的文士<05613>，云云{<03706>}。
Artaxerxes<0783>, king<04430> of kings<04430>, unto Ezra<05831> the priest<03549>, a scribe<05613> of the law<01882> of the God<0426> of heaven<08065>, perfect<01585>(8752) peace , and at such a time<03706>. {unto...: or, to Ezra the priest, a perfect scribe of the law of the God of heaven, peace, etc}
7:13 {<01768>}住在我國<09002><04437>中的<04481>以色列<03479>人<05972>、祭司<03549>、利未人<03879>，凡<03606>甘心<05069>(8723)上<09001><01946>(8749)耶路撒冷<09001><03390>去的，我<04481>降<07761>(8752)旨<02942>准他們與你<05974>同去<01946>(8748)。
I<04481> make<07761>(8752) a decree<02942>, that all<03606> they of<04481> the people<05972> of Israel<03479>, and of his priests<03549> and Levites<03879>, in my realm<04437>, which are minded of their own freewill<05069>(8723) to go up<01946>(8749) to Jerusalem<03390>, go<01946>(8748) with thee<05974>.

Forasmuch<01768><06903> as<03606> thou art sent<07972>(8750) of<04481><06925> the king<04430>, and of his seven<07655> counsellors<03272>(8750), to enquire<01240>(8742) concerning<05922> Judah<03061> and Jerusalem<03390>, according to the law<01882> of thy God<0426> which is in thine hand<03028>; {of the king: Chaldee, from before the king}
7:15 又帶<09001><02987>(8682)金<01722>銀<03702>，就是<01768>王<04430>和謀士<03272>(8750)甘心獻給<05069>(8724){<01768>}住<04907>耶路撒冷<09002><03390>、以色列<03479>　神<09001><0426>的，
And to carry<02987>(8682) the silver<03702> and gold<01722>, which the king<04430> and his counsellors<03272>(8750) have freely offered<05069>(8724) unto the God<0426> of Israel<03479>, whose<01768> habitation<04907> is in Jerusalem<03390>,
7:16 並帶你在巴比倫<0895>全<09002><03606>省<04083>所<01768>得<07912>(8681)的{<03606>}金<01722>銀<03702>，和<05974>百姓<05972>、祭司<03549>樂意<05069>(8723)獻給<05069>(8722){<01768>}耶路撒冷<09002><03390>─他們　神<0426>殿<09001><01005>的禮物。
And all<03606> the silver<03702> and gold<01722> that thou canst find<07912>(8681) in all<03606> the province<04083> of Babylon<0895>, with<05974> the freewill offering<05069>(8722) of the people<05972>, and of the priests<03549>, offering willingly<05069>(8723) for the house<01005> of their God<0426> which is in Jerusalem<03390>:
7:17 {<03606>}{<06903>}所以你當用這<01836>金銀<09002><03702>，急速<0629>買<07066>(8748)公牛<08450>、公綿羊<01798>、綿羊羔<0563>，和同獻的素祭<04504>奠祭<05261>之物，獻<07127>(8741){<01994>}在<01768>耶路撒冷<09002><03390>─{<01768>}你們　神<0426>殿<01005>的壇<04056>上<05922>。
That<03606><06903> thou mayest buy<07066>(8748) speedily<0629> with this<01836> money<03702> bullocks<08450>, rams<01798>, lambs<0563>, with their meat offerings<04504> and their drink offerings<05261>, and offer<07127>(8741) them<01994> upon<05922> the altar<04056> of the house<01005> of your God<0426> which is in Jerusalem<03390>.
7:18 剩下<09002><07606>的金<01722>銀<03702>，{<01768>}你<05922>和<05922>你的弟兄<0252>看著怎樣<04101><01768>好<03191>(8748)，就怎樣用<09001><05648>(8749)，總要遵著<05648>(8748)你們　神<0426>的旨意<09003><07470>。
And whatsoever<04101><01768> shall seem good<03191>(8748) to thee, and to<05922> thy brethren<0252>, to do<05648>(8749) with the rest<07606> of the silver<03702> and the gold<01722>, that do<05648>(8748) after the will<07470> of your God<0426>.
7:19 所<01768>交<03052>(8727)給你<09001>　神<0426>殿<01005>中使用<09001><06402>的器皿<03984>，你要交<08000>(8680)在耶路撒冷<03390>　神<0426>面前<06925>。
The vessels<03984> also that are given<03052>(8727) thee for the service<06402> of the house<01005> of thy God<0426>, those deliver<08000>(8680) thou before<06925> the God<0426> of Jerusalem<03390>.
7:20 你　神<0426>殿<01005>裡若再<07606>有需用<02819>的<01768>{<05308>}{(8748)}{<09001>}經費<09001><05415>(8749)，你可以從<04481>王<04430>的府<01596>庫<01005>裡支取<05415>(8748)。
And whatsoever more<07606> shall be needful<02819> for the house<01005> of thy God<0426>, which thou shalt have occasion<05308>(8748) to bestow<05415>(8749), bestow<05415>(8748) it out of<04481> the king's<04430> treasure<01596> house<01005>.
7:21 「{<04481>}我<0576>─亞達薛西<0783>王<04430>又降<07761>(8752)旨<02942>與河<05103>西<09002><05675>的<01768>一切<09001><03606>庫官<01490>，說：『通達天上<08065>　神<0426>律法<01882>的<01768>文士<05613>祭司<03549>以斯拉<05831>，無論<01768><03606><01768>向你們要甚麼<07593>(8748)，你們要速速地<0629>備辦<05648>(8725)，
And I<04481>, even I<0576> Artaxerxes<0783> the king<04430>, do make<07761>(8752) a decree<02942> to all<03606> the treasurers<01490> which are beyond<05675> the river<05103>, that whatsoever Ezra<05831> the priest<03549>, the scribe<05613> of the law<01882> of the God<0426> of heaven<08065>, shall require<07593>(8748) of you, it be done<05648>(8725) speedily<0629>,
7:22 就是銀子<03702>直到<05705>一百<03969>他連得<03604>，{<05705>}麥子<02591>一百<03969>柯珥<03734>，{<05705>}酒<02562>一百<03969>罷特<01325>，{<05705>}油<04887>一百<03969>罷特<01325>，{<01768>}鹽<04416>不<03809>計其數<03792>，也要給他。
Unto<05705> an hundred<03969> talents<03604> of silver<03702>, and to an hundred<03969> measures<03734> of wheat<02591>, and to an hundred<03969> baths<01325> of wine<02562>, and to an hundred<03969> baths<01325> of oil<04887>, and salt<04416> without<03809> prescribing<03792> how much . {measures: Chaldee, cors}
7:23 凡<03606>天上<08065>之　神<0426>所<01768><04481>吩咐<02941>的，當為天上<08065>　神<0426>的殿<09001><01005>詳細<0149>辦理<05648>(8725)。{<01768>}為何<09001><04101>使忿怒<07109>臨<01934>(8748)到<05922>王<04430>和王眾子<01123>的國<04437>呢？
Whatsoever<03606> is commanded by<02941><04481> the God<0426> of heaven<08065>, let it be diligently<0149> done<05648>(8725) for the house<01005> of the God<0426> of heaven<08065>: for<01768> why<04101> should there be<01934>(8748) wrath<07109> against<05922> the realm<04437> of the king<04430> and his sons<01123>? {Whatsoever...: Chaldee, Whatsoever is of the decree}
7:24 我又曉諭<03046>(8683)你們<09001>，至於<01768>{<03606>}祭司<03549>、利未人<03879>、歌唱的<02171>、守門的<08652>，和尼提寧<05412>，並在{<01836>}　神<0426>殿<01005>當差的人<06399>(8750)，不<03809>可<07990>叫他們<05922>進<09001><07412>(8749)貢<01093>，交課<04061>，納稅<01983>。』
Also we certify<03046>(8683) you, that touching any<03606> of the priests<03549> and Levites<03879>, singers<02171>, porters<08652>, Nethinims<05412>, or ministers<06399>(8750) of this<01836> house<01005> of God<0426>, it shall not<03809> be lawful<07990> to impose<07412>(8749) toll<04061>, tribute<01093>, or custom<01983>, upon<05922> them.
7:25 「{<0607>}以斯拉<05831>啊，要照著<01768>你　神<0426>賜你<09002><03028>的智慧<09003><02452>，將所有<09001><03606>明白<03046>(8751)你　神<0426>律法<01882>的人立<04483>(8740)為<01934>(8748){<01768>}士師<08200>(8751)、審判官<01782>，治理<01778>(8751)河<05103>西<09002><05675>的<01768>{<09001>}{<03606>}百姓<05972>，使他們教訓<03046>(8681)一切<01768>不<03809>明白<03046>(8751)　神律法的人。
And thou<0607>, Ezra<05831>, after the wisdom<02452> of thy God<0426>, that is in thine hand<03028>, set<04483>(8740) magistrates<08200>(8751) and judges<01782>, which may judge<01934>(8748)<01778>(8751) all<03606> the people<05972> that are beyond<05675> the river<05103>, all<03606> such as know<03046>(8751) the laws<01882> of thy God<0426>; and teach<03046>(8681) ye them that know<03046>(8751) them not<03809>.
7:26 凡<03606><01768>不<03809>{<01934>}{(8748)}遵行<05648>(8751){<01768>}你　神<0426>律法<01882>和<01768>王<04430>命令<01882>的人就當速速<0629>定<01934>(8748)他的<04481>罪<01780>，或<02006>治死<09001><04193>，或<02006>充軍<09001><08332>，或<02006>抄家<09001><06065><05232>，或囚禁<09001><0613>。」
And whosoever<03606> will not<03809> do<01934>(8748)<05648>(8751) the law<01882> of thy God<0426>, and the law<01882> of the king<04430>, let judgment<01780> be<01934>(8748) executed<05648>(8727) speedily<0629> upon him<04481>, whether<02006> it be unto death<04193>, or<02006> to banishment<08332>, or<02006> to confiscation<06065> of goods<05232>, or to imprisonment<0613>. {to banishment: Chaldee, to rooting out}
7:27 以斯拉說：「耶和華<03068>─我們列祖<01>的　神<0430>是應當稱頌的<01288>(8803)！因他<0834>使王<04428>起<05414>(8804)這<09003><02063>心意<09002><03820>修飾<09001><06286>(8763){<0853>}耶路撒冷<09002><03389>耶和華<03068>的<0834>殿<01004>，
Blessed<01288>(8803) be the LORD<03068> God<0430> of our fathers<01>, which hath put<05414>(8804) such a thing as this in the king's<04428> heart<03820>, to beautify<06286>(8763) the house<01004> of the LORD<03068> which is in Jerusalem<03389>:
7:28 又在王<04428>和謀士<03289>(8802)，並{<09001>}{<03605>}{<04428>}大能的<01368>軍長<08269>面前<09001><06440>施<05186>(8689)恩<02617>於我<05921>。因耶和華<03068>─我　神<0430>的手<09003><03027>幫助我<05921>，我<0589>就得以堅強<02388>(8694)，從以色列<04480><03478>中招聚<06908>(8799)首領<07218>，與我<05973>一同上來<09001><05927>(8800)。」
And hath extended<05186>(8689) mercy<02617> unto me before<06440> the king<04428>, and his counsellors<03289>(8802), and before all the king's<04428> mighty<01368> princes<08269>. And I was strengthened<02388>(8694) as the hand<03027> of the LORD<03068> my God<0430> was upon me, and I gathered together<06908>(8799) out of Israel<03478> chief men<07218> to go up<05927>(8800) with me.
