21:1 約沙法<03092>與<05973>他列祖<01>同睡<07901>(8799)，葬<06912>(8735)在大衛<01732>城<09002><05892>{<05973>}他列祖<01>的墳地裡。他兒子<01121>約蘭<03088>接續他<08478>作王<04427>(8799)。
Now Jehoshaphat<03092> slept<07901>(8799) with his fathers<01>, and was buried<06912>(8735) with his fathers<01> in the city<05892> of David<01732>. And Jehoram<03088> his son<01121> reigned<04427>(8799) in his stead.
21:2 約蘭有<09001>幾個兄弟<0251>，就是約沙法<03092>的兒子<01121>亞撒利雅<05838>、耶歇<03171>、撒迦利雅<02148>、亞撒列夫<05838>、米迦勒<04317>、示法提雅<08203>。這<0428>都是<03605>猶大<03478>王<04428>約沙法<03092>的兒子<01121>。
And he had brethren<0251> the sons<01121> of Jehoshaphat<03092>, Azariah<05838>, and Jehiel<03171>, and Zechariah<02148>, and Azariah<05838>, and Michael<04317>, and Shephatiah<08203>: all these were the sons<01121> of Jehoshaphat<03092> king<04428> of Israel<03478>.
21:3 他們的父親<01>將許多<07227>{<04979>}金<09001><02091>銀<09001><03701>、財寶<09001><04030>，和<05973>猶大<09002><03063>地的堅固<04694>城<05892>賜<05414>(8799)給他們<09001>；但將<0853>國<04467>賜<05414>(8804)給約蘭<09001><03088>，因為<03588>他<01931>是長子<01060>。
And their father<01> gave<05414>(8799) them great<07227> gifts<04979> of silver<03701>, and of gold<02091>, and of precious things<04030>, with fenced<04694> cities<05892> in Judah<03063>: but the kingdom<04467> gave<05414>(8804) he to Jehoram<03088>; because he was the firstborn<01060>.
21:4 約蘭<03088>興起<06965>(8799)坐<05921>他父<01>的位<04467>，奮勇自強<02388>(8691)，就用刀<09002><02719>殺了<02026>(8799){<0853>}他的眾<03605>兄弟<0251>和<01571>以色列<03478>的幾個首領<04480><08269>。
Now when Jehoram<03088> was risen up<06965>(8799) to the kingdom<04467> of his father<01>, he strengthened<02388>(8691) himself, and slew<02026>(8799) all his brethren<0251> with the sword<02719>, and divers also of the princes<08269> of Israel<03478>.
21:5 約蘭<03088>登基<09002><04427>(8800)的時候年<01121>三十<07970>二<08147>歲<08141>，在耶路撒冷<09002><03389>作王<04427>(8804)八<08083>年<08141>。
Jehoram<03088> was thirty<07970> and two<08147> years<08141> old<01121> when he began to reign<04427>(8800), and he reigned<04427>(8804) eight<08083> years<08141> in Jerusalem<03389>.
21:6 他行<03212>(8799)以色列<03478>諸王<04428>的道<09002><01870>，與<09003><0834>{<06213>}{(8804)}亞哈<0256>家<01004>一樣；因<03588>他<09001>娶了亞哈<0256>的女兒<01323>為<01961>妻<0802>，行<06213>(8799)耶和華<03068>眼中<09002><05869>看為惡<07451>的事。
And he walked<03212>(8799) in the way<01870> of the kings<04428> of Israel<03478>, like as did<06213>(8804) the house<01004> of Ahab<0256>: for he had the daughter<01323> of Ahab<0256> to wife<0802>: and he wrought<06213>(8799) that which was evil<07451> in the eyes<05869> of the LORD<03068>.
21:7 耶和華<03068>卻因<09001><04616>自己與大衛<09001><01732>所<0834>立<03772>(8804)的約<01285>，不<03808>肯<014>(8804)滅<09001><07843>(8687){<0853>}大衛<01732>的家<01004>，照他所<09003><0834>應許<0559>(8804)的，永遠<03605><03117>賜<09001><05414>(8800)燈光<05216>與大衛<09001>和他的子孫<09001><01121>。
Howbeit the LORD<03068> would<014>(8804) not destroy<07843>(8687) the house<01004> of David<01732>, because of the covenant<01285> that he had made<03772>(8804) with David<01732>, and as he promised<0559>(8804) to give<05414>(8800) a light<05216> to him and to his sons<01121> for ever<03117>. {light: Heb. lamp, or, candle}
21:8 約蘭年間<09002><03117>，以東人<0123>背叛<06586>(8804)猶大<03063>，脫離<04480><08478>他的權<03027>下，自己<05921>立<04427>(8686)王<04428>。
In his days<03117> the Edomites<0123> revolted<06586>(8804) from under the dominion<03027> of Judah<03063>, and made<04427>(8686) themselves a king<04428>. {dominion: Heb. hand}
21:9 {<05674>}{(8799)}約蘭<03088>就率領<05973>軍長<08269>和<05973>所有的<03605>戰車<07393>，{<01961>}夜間<03915>起來<06965>(8804)，攻擊<05221>(8686){<0853>}圍困<05437>(8802)他<0413>的以東人<0123>和<0853>車兵<07393>長<08269>。
Then Jehoram<03088> went forth<05674>(8799) with his princes<08269>, and all his chariots<07393> with him: and he rose up<06965>(8804) by night<03915>, and smote<05221>(8686) the Edomites<0123> which compassed him in<05437>(8802), and the captains<08269> of the chariots<07393>.
21:10 這樣，以東人<0123>背叛<06586>(8799)猶大<03063>，脫離<04480><08478>他的權<03027>下，直到<05704>今<02088>日<03117>。那<01931>時<09002><06256>，立拿人<03841>也<0227>背叛了<06586>(8799){<04480>}{<08478>}{<03027>}，因為<03588>約蘭離棄<05800>(8804){<0853>}耶和華<03068>─他列祖<01>的　神<0430>。
So the Edomites<0123> revolted<06586>(8799) from under the hand<03027> of Judah<03063> unto this day<03117>. The same time<06256> also did Libnah<03841> revolt<06586>(8799) from under his hand<03027>; because he had forsaken<05800>(8804) the LORD<03068> God<0430> of his fathers<01>.
21:11 他<01931>又<01571>在猶大<03063>諸山<09002><02022>建築<06213>(8804)邱壇<01116>，使<0853>耶路撒冷<03389>的居民<03427>(8802)行邪淫<02181>(8686)，誘惑<05080>(8686){<0853>}猶大人<03063>。
Moreover he made<06213>(8804) high places<01116> in the mountains<02022> of Judah<03063>, and caused the inhabitants<03427>(8802) of Jerusalem<03389> to commit fornication<02181>(8686), and compelled<05080>(8686) Judah<03063> thereto .
21:12 先知<05030>以利亞<04480><0452>達<0935>(8799)信<04385>與<0413>約蘭說<09001><0559>(8800)：「耶和華<03068>─你祖<01>大衛<01732>的　神<0430>如此<03541>說<0559>(8804)：『因為<08478><0834>你不<03808>行<01980>(8804)你父<01>約沙法<03092>{<09002>}{<01870>}和猶大<03063>王<04428>亞撒<0609>的道<09002><01870>，
And there came<0935>(8799) a writing<04385> to him from Elijah<0452> the prophet<05030>, saying<0559>(8800), Thus saith<0559>(8804) the LORD<03068> God<0430> of David<01732> thy father<01>, Because thou hast not walked<01980>(8804) in the ways<01870> of Jehoshaphat<03092> thy father<01>, nor in the ways<01870> of Asa<0609> king<04428> of Judah<03063>,
21:13 乃行<03212>(8799)以色列<03478>諸王<04428>的道<09002><01870>，使<0853>猶大人<03063>和<0853>耶路撒冷<03389>的居民<03427>(8802)行邪淫<02181>(8686)，像亞哈<0256>家<01004>{<09003>}{<02181>}{(8687)}一樣，又<01571>殺了<02026>(8804)你父<01>家<01004>比你<04480>好<02896>的{<0853>}諸兄弟<0251>。
But hast walked<03212>(8799) in the way<01870> of the kings<04428> of Israel<03478>, and hast made Judah<03063> and the inhabitants<03427>(8802) of Jerusalem<03389> to go a whoring<02181>(8686), like to the whoredoms<02181>(8687) of the house<01004> of Ahab<0256>, and also hast slain<02026>(8804) thy brethren<0251> of thy father's<01> house<01004>, which were better<02896> than thyself:
21:14 故此，{<02009>}耶和華<03068>降<05062>(8802)大<01419>災<04046>與你的百姓<09002><05971>和你的妻子<09002><0802>、兒女<09002><01121>，並你一切<09002><03605>所有的<07399>。
Behold, with a great<01419> plague<04046> will the LORD<03068> smite<05062>(8802) thy people<05971>, and thy children<01121>, and thy wives<0802>, and all thy goods<07399>: {a great...: Heb. a great stroke}
21:15 {<0859>}{<09002>}{<02483>}{<07227>}你的腸子<04578>必患病<09002><04245>，日<03117>加<05921><03117>沉重<04480><02483>，以致<05704>你的腸子<04578>墜落下來<03318>(8799)。』」
And thou shalt have great<07227> sickness<02483> by disease<04245> of thy bowels<04578>, until thy bowels<04578> fall out<03318>(8799) by reason of the sickness<02483> day<03117> by day<03117>.
21:16 以後，耶和華<03068>激動<05782>(8686){<0853>}{<07307>}非利士人<06430>和靠近<05921><03027>古實<03569>的<0834>阿拉伯人<06163>來攻擊<05921>約蘭<03088>。
Moreover the LORD<03068> stirred up<05782>(8686) against Jehoram<03088> the spirit<07307> of the Philistines<06430>, and of the Arabians<06163>, that were near<05921><03027> the Ethiopians<03569>:
21:17 他們上來<05927>(8799)攻擊猶大<09002><03063>，侵入境內<01234>(8799)，擄掠了<07617>(8799){<0853>}王<04428>宮<09001><01004>裡所有的<03605>財貨<07399>{<04672>}{(8737)}和他的妻子<0802>、{<01571>}兒女<01121>，除了<03588><0518>他小<06996>兒子<01121>約哈斯<03059>（又名亞哈謝）之外，沒有<03808>留下<07604>(8738){<09001>}一個兒子<01121>。
And they came up<05927>(8799) into Judah<03063>, and brake<01234>(8799) into it, and carried away<07617>(8799) all the substance<07399> that was found<04672>(8737) in the king's<04428> house<01004>, and his sons<01121> also, and his wives<0802>; so that there was never a son<01121> left<07604>(8738) him, save Jehoahaz<03059>, the youngest<06996> of his sons<01121>. {carried...: Heb. carried captive} {Jehoahaz: also called, Ahaziah, or, Azariah}
21:18 這些<02063><03605>事以後<0310>，耶和華<03068>使約蘭的腸子<09002><04578>患<05062>(8804)不能<09001><0369>醫治<04832>的病<09001><02483>。
And after<0310> all this the LORD<03068> smote<05062>(8804) him in his bowels<04578> with an incurable<0369><04832> disease<02483>.
21:19 {<01961>}{<05973>}他患此病<02483>纏綿<04480><03117>日久<09001><03117>，{<09003>}{<06256>}過了<03318>(8800)<07093>二<08147>年<09001><03117>，腸子<04578>墜落下來<03318>(8804)，病<09002><08463>重<07451>而死<04191>(8799)。他的民<05971>沒有<03808>為他<09001>{<06213>}{(8804)}燒<08316>甚麼物件，像從前為他列祖<01>所燒<09003><08316>的一樣。
And it came to pass, that in process of time<03117>, after<03318>(8800)<06256> the end<07093> of two<08147> years<03117>, his bowels<04578> fell out<03318>(8804) by reason<05973> of his sickness<02483>: so he died<04191>(8799) of sore<07451> diseases<08463>. And his people<05971> made<06213>(8804) no burning<08316> for him, like the burning<08316> of his fathers<01>.
21:20 {<01961>}約蘭登基<09002><04427>(8800)的時候年<01121>三十<07970>二<08147>歲，在耶路撒冷<09002><03389>作王<04427>(8804)八<08083>年<08141>。他去世<03212>(8799)無人<09002><03808>思慕<02532>，眾人葬<06912>(8799)他在大衛<01732>城<09002><05892>，只是不<03808>在列王<04428>的墳墓<09002><06913>裡。
Thirty<07970> and two<08147> years old<01121> was he when he began to reign<04427>(8800), and he reigned<04427>(8804) in Jerusalem<03389> eight<08083> years<08141>, and departed<03212>(8799) without being desired<02532>.
