13:1 耶羅波安<03379>王<09001><04428>十八<08083><06240>年<09002><08141>，亞比雅<029>登基<04427>(8799)作<05921>猶大<03063>王，
Now in the eighteenth<08083><06240> year<08141> of king<04428> Jeroboam<03379> began Abijah<029> to reign<04427>(8799) over Judah<03063>.
13:2 在耶路撒冷<09002><03389>作王<04427>(8804)三<07969>年<08141>。他母親<0517>名叫<08034>米該亞<04322>（又作瑪迦），是<04480>基比亞人<01390>烏列<0222>的女兒<01323>。{<01961>}{<0996>}亞比雅<029>常與<0996>耶羅波安<03379>爭戰<04421>。
He reigned<04427>(8804) three<07969> years<08141> in Jerusalem<03389>. His mother's<0517> name<08034> also was Michaiah<04322> the daughter<01323> of Uriel<0222> of Gibeah<01390>. And there was war<04421> between Abijah<029> and Jeroboam<03379>.
13:3 有一次亞比雅<029>率領挑選的<0977>(8803)兵<0376>四十萬<0702><03967><0505>擺<0631>(8799){<0853>}陣<04421>，都是勇敢的<09002><02428>戰<04421>士<01368>；耶羅波安<03379>也挑選<0977>(8803)大能的<02428>勇<01368>士<0376>八十萬<09002><08083><03967><0505>，對<05973>亞比雅擺<06186>(8804)陣<04421>。
And Abijah<029> set<0631><00> the battle<04421> in array<0631>(8799) with an army<02428> of valiant men<01368> of war<04421>, even four<0702> hundred<03967> thousand<0505> chosen<0977>(8803) men<0376>: Jeroboam<03379> also set the battle<04421> in array<06186>(8804) against him with eight<08083> hundred<03967> thousand<0505> chosen<0977>(8803) men<0376>, being mighty men<01368> of valour<02428>. {Abijah set: Heb. 13:4 亞比雅<029>站<06965>(8799)在<04480><05921>以法蓮<0669>山地<09002><02022>中的<0834>洗瑪臉<06787>山上<09002><02022>，說<0559>(8799)：「耶羅波安<03379>和以色列<03478>眾人<03605>哪，要聽<08085>(8798)我說！
And Abijah<029> stood up<06965>(8799) upon mount<02022> Zemaraim<06787>, which is in mount<02022> Ephraim<0669>, and said<0559>(8799), Hear<08085>(8798) me, thou Jeroboam<03379>, and all Israel<03478>;
13:5 {<03588>}耶和華<03068>─以色列<03478>的神<0430>曾立鹽<04417>約<01285>（鹽就是不廢壞的意思），將<05921>以色列<03478>國<04467>永遠<09001><05769>賜<05414>(8804)給大衛<09001><01732>{<09001>}和他的子孫<09001><01121>，你們<09001>不<03808>知道<09001><03045>(8800)嗎？
Ought ye not to know<03045>(8800) that the LORD<03068> God<0430> of Israel<03478> gave<05414>(8804) the kingdom<04467> over Israel<03478> to David<01732> for ever<05769>, even to him and to his sons<01121> by a covenant<01285> of salt<04417>?
13:6 無奈大衛<01732>兒子<01121>所羅門<08010>的臣僕<05650>、尼八<05028>兒子<01121>耶羅波安<03379>起來<06965>(8799)背叛<04775>(8799){<05921>}他的主人<0113>。
Yet Jeroboam<03379> the son<01121> of Nebat<05028>, the servant<05650> of Solomon<08010> the son<01121> of David<01732>, is risen up<06965>(8799), and hath rebelled<04775>(8799) against his lord<0113>.
13:7 有些無賴<07386><0582>的匪<01100>徒<01121>聚集<06908>(8735)跟從他<05921>，逞強<0553>(8691)攻擊<05921>所羅門<08010>的兒子<01121>羅波安<07346>；那時羅波安<07346>還<01961>幼<05288>弱<07390><03824>，不能<03808>抵擋<02388>(8694)他們<09001><06440>。
And there are gathered<06908>(8735) unto him vain<07386> men<0582>, the children<01121> of Belial<01100>, and have strengthened<0553>(8691) themselves against Rehoboam<07346> the son<01121> of Solomon<08010>, when Rehoboam<07346> was young<05288> and tenderhearted<07390><03824>, and could not withstand<02388>(8694) them<06440>.
13:8 「現在<06258>你們<0859>有意<0559>(8802)抗拒<09001><02388>(8692){<09001>}{<06440>}大衛<01732>子孫<01121>手下<09002><03027>所治耶和華<03068>的國<04467>，你們<0859>的人也甚<07227>多<01995>，你們那裡又有<05973>耶羅波安<03379>為你們<09001>所<0834>造<06213>(8804)當作神<09001><0430>的金<02091>牛犢<05695>。
And now ye think<0559>(8802) to withstand<02388>(8692) the kingdom<06440><04467> of the LORD<03068> in the hand<03027> of the sons<01121> of David<01732>; and ye be a great<07227> multitude<01995>, and there are with you golden<02091> calves<05695>, which Jeroboam<03379> made<06213>(8804) you for gods<0430>.
13:9 你們不是<03808>驅逐<05080>(8689){<0853>}耶和華<03068>的祭司<03548>{<0853>}亞倫<0175>的後裔<01121>和利未人<03881>嗎？不是照著外邦<0776>人<09003><05971>的惡俗為自己<09001>立<06213>(8799)祭司<03548>嗎？無論何人<03605>牽<0935>(8802){<03027>}一隻公<09002><06499>牛<01241>犢<01121>、七隻<07651>公綿羊<0352>將自己分別出來<09001><04390>(8763)，就可作<01961>虛無<09001><03808>之神<0430>的祭司<03548>。
Have ye not cast out<05080>(8689) the priests<03548> of the LORD<03068>, the sons<01121> of Aaron<0175>, and the Levites<03881>, and have made<06213>(8799) you priests<03548> after the manner of the nations<05971> of other lands<0776>? so that whosoever cometh<0935>(8802) to consecrate<04390>(8763)<03027> himself with a young<01121><01241> bullock<06499> and seven<07651> rams<0352>, the same may be a priest<03548> of them that are no<03808> gods<0430>. {to consecrate...: Heb. to fill his hand}
13:10 至於我們<0587>，耶和華<03068>是我們的神<0430>，我們並沒有<03808>離棄他<05800>(8804)。我們有事奉<08334>(8764)耶和華<09001><03068>的祭司<03548>，都是亞倫<0175>的後裔<01121>，並有利未人<03881>各盡其職<09002><04399>，
But as for us, the LORD<03068> is our God<0430>, and we have not forsaken<05800>(8804) him; and the priests<03548>, which minister<08334>(8764) unto the LORD<03068>, are the sons<01121> of Aaron<0175>, and the Levites<03881> wait upon their business<04399>:
13:11 每日<09002><01242>{<09002>}{<06153>}早<09002><01242>晚<09002><06153>向耶和華<09001><03068>獻<06999>(8688)燔祭<05930>，燒美<05561>香<07004>，又在<05921>精金<02889>的桌子<07979>上擺陳設<04635>餅<03899>；又有金<02091>燈臺<04501>和燈盞<05216>，每<09002><06153>晚<09002><06153>點起<09001><01197>(8763)，因為<03588>我們<0587>遵守<08104>(8802){<0853>}耶和華<03068>─我們神<0430>的命<04931>；惟有你們<0859>離棄了<05800>(8804)他<0853>。
And they burn<06999>(8688) unto the LORD<03068> every morning<01242> and every evening<06153> burnt sacrifices<05930> and sweet<05561> incense<07004>: the shewbread<03899><04635> also set they in order upon the pure<02889> table<07979>; and the candlestick<04501> of gold<02091> with the lamps<05216> thereof, to burn<01197>(8763) every evening<06153>: for we keep<08104>(8802) the charge<04931> of the LORD<03068> our God<0430>; but ye have forsaken<05800>(8804) him.
13:12 {<02009>}率領<09002><07218>我們<05973>的是神<0430>，我們這裡也有神<0430>的祭司<03548>拿號<02689>向你們<05921>吹出<09001><07321>(8687)大聲<08643>。以色列<03478>人<01121>哪，不要<0408>與<05973>耶和華<03068>─你們列祖<01>的神<0430>爭戰<03898>(8735)，因<03588>你們必不能<03808>亨通<06743>(8686)。」
And, behold, God<0430> himself is with us for our captain<07218>, and his priests<03548> with sounding<08643> trumpets<02689> to cry alarm<07321>(8687) against you. O children<01121> of Israel<03478>, fight<03898>(8735) ye not against the LORD<03068> God<0430> of your fathers<01>; for ye shall not prosper<06743>(8686).
13:13 耶羅波安<03379>卻在<09001><0935>(8800)猶大人的後頭<04480><0310>設<05437>(8689){<0853>}伏兵<03993>。這樣，以色列人在<01961>猶大人<03063>的前頭<09001><06440>，伏兵<03993>在猶大人的後頭<04480><0310>。
But Jeroboam<03379> caused an ambushment<03993> to come<0935>(8800) about<05437>(8689) behind<0310> them: so they were before<06440> Judah<03063>, and the ambushment<03993> was behind<0310> them.
13:14 猶大人<03063>回頭觀看<06437>(8799)，見<02009>{<09001>}{<04421>}前<06440>後<0268>都有敵兵，就呼求<06817>(8799)耶和華<09001><03068>，祭司<03548>也吹<02690>(8688)(8675)<02690>(8764)號<09002><02689>。
And when Judah<03063> looked back<06437>(8799), behold, the battle<04421> was before<06440> and behind<0268>: and they cried<06817>(8799) unto the LORD<03068>, and the priests<03548> sounded<02690>(8688)(8675)<02690>(8764) with the trumpets<02689>.
13:15 於是猶大<03063>人<0376>吶喊<07321>(8686)；{<01961>}猶大<03063>人<0376>吶喊<09002><07321>(8687)的時候，神<0430>就使<0853>耶羅波安<03379>和以色列<03478>眾人<03605>敗<05062>(8804)在亞比雅<029>與猶大人<03063>面前<09001><06440>。
Then the men<0376> of Judah<03063> gave a shout<07321>(8686): and as the men<0376> of Judah<03063> shouted<07321>(8687), it came to pass, that God<0430> smote<05062>(8804) Jeroboam<03379> and all Israel<03478> before<06440> Abijah<029> and Judah<03063>.
13:16 以色列<03478>人<01121>在猶大人<03063>面前<04480><06440>逃跑<05127>(8799)，神<0430>將他們交<05414>(8799)在猶大人手裡<09002><03027>。
And the children<01121> of Israel<03478> fled<05127>(8799) before<06440> Judah<03063>: and God<0430> delivered<05414>(8799) them into their hand<03027>.
13:17 亞比雅<029>和他的軍兵<05971>大大<07227>殺戮<05221>(8686)<04347>以色列人<09002>，以色列人<04480><03478>仆倒<05307>(8799)死亡<02491>的精<0977>(8803)兵<0376>有五十萬<02568><03967><0505>。
And Abijah<029> and his people<05971> slew<05221>(8686) them with a great<07227> slaughter<04347>: so there fell down<05307>(8799) slain<02491> of Israel<03478> five<02568> hundred<03967> thousand<0505> chosen<0977>(8803) men<0376>.
13:18 那<01931>時<09002><06256>，以色列<03478>人<01121>被制伏了<03665>(8735)，猶大<03063>人<01121>得勝<0553>(8799)，是因<03588>倚靠<08172>(8738){<05921>}耶和華<03068>─他們列祖<01>的神<0430>。
Thus the children<01121> of Israel<03478> were brought<03665>(8735) under at that time<06256>, and the children<01121> of Judah<03063> prevailed<0553>(8799), because they relied<08172>(8738) upon the LORD<03068> God<0430> of their fathers<01>.
13:19 亞比雅<029>追<07291>(8799)趕<0310>耶羅波安<03379>，攻取了<03920>(8799)他的<04480>幾座城<05892>，就是<0853>伯特利<01008>和<0853>屬伯特利的鎮市<01323>，{<0853>}耶沙拿<03466>和<0853>屬耶沙拿的鎮市<01323>，{<0853>}以法拉音<06085>（或譯：以弗倫）和屬以法拉音的鎮市<01323>。
And Abijah<029> pursued<07291>(8799) after<0310> Jeroboam<03379>, and took<03920>(8799) cities<05892> from him, Bethel<01008> with the towns<01323> thereof, and Jeshanah<03466> with the towns<01323> thereof, and Ephrain<06085> with the towns<01323> thereof.
13:20 亞比雅<029>在世的時候<09002><03117>，耶羅波安<03379>不能<03808>再<06113>(8804)<05750>強盛<03581>；耶和華<03068>攻擊他<05062>(8799)，他就死了<04191>(8799)。
Neither did Jeroboam<03379> recover<06113>(8804) strength<03581> again in the days<03117> of Abijah<029>: and the LORD<03068> struck<05062>(8799) him, and he died<04191>(8799).
13:21 亞比雅<029>卻漸漸強盛<02388>(8691)，娶<05375>(8799){<09001>}妻妾<0802>十四<0702><06240>個，生了<03205>(8686)二十<06242>二<08147>個兒子<01121>，十六<08337><06240>個女兒<01323>。
But Abijah<029> waxed mighty<02388>(8691), and married<05375>(8799) fourteen<0702><06240> wives<0802>, and begat<03205>(8686) twenty<06242> and two<08147> sons<01121>, and sixteen<08337><06240> daughters<01323>.
13:22 亞比雅<029>其餘<03499>的事<01697>和他的言<01697>行<01870>都寫在<03789>(8803)先知<05030>易多<05714>的傳<09002><04097>上。
And the rest<03499> of the acts<01697> of Abijah<029>, and his ways<01870>, and his sayings<01697>, are written<03789>(8803) in the story<04097> of the prophet<05030> Iddo<05714>.
