12 {<01961>}羅波安<07346>的國<04438>堅立<09003><03559>(8687)，他強盛<09003><02393>的時候就離棄<05800>(8804){<0853>}耶和華<03068>的律法<08451>，以色列人<03478>也都<03605>隨從他<05973>。
And it came to pass, when Rehoboam<07346> had established<03559>(8687) the kingdom<04438>, and had strengthened<02393> himself, he forsook<05800>(8804) the law<08451> of the LORD<03068>, and all Israel<03478> with him.
2 {<01961>}羅波安<07346>王<09001><04428>第五<02549>年<09002><08141>，埃及<04714>王<04428>示撒<07895>上來<05927>(8804)攻打<05921>耶路撒冷<03389>，因為<03588>王和民得罪了<04603>(8804)耶和華<09002><03068>。
And it came to pass, that in the fifth<02549> year<08141> of king<04428> Rehoboam<07346> Shishak<07895> king<04428> of Egypt<04714> came up<05927>(8804) against Jerusalem<03389>, because they had transgressed<04603>(8804) against the LORD<03068>,
3 示撒帶戰車<07393>一千<09002><0505>二百<03967>輛，馬兵<06571>六萬<09002><08346><0505>，並且<0834>跟從他<05973>出<0935>(8804)埃及<04480><04714>的路比人<03864>、蘇基人<05525>，和古實人<03569>，{<09001>}{<05971>}多得不可<0369>勝數<04557>。
With twelve hundred<03967><0505> chariots<07393>, and threescore<08346> thousand<0505> horsemen<06571>: and the people<05971> were without number<04557> that came<0935>(8804) with him out of Egypt<04714>; the Lubims<03864>, the Sukkiims<05525>, and the Ethiopians<03569>.
4 他攻取了<03920>(8799){<0853>}猶大<09001><03063>的<0834>堅固<04694>城<05892>，就來<0935>(8799)到<05704>耶路撒冷<03389>。
And he took<03920>(8799) the fenced<04694> cities<05892> which pertained to Judah<03063>, and came<0935>(8799) to Jerusalem<03389>.
5 那時，猶大<03063>的首領<0834>因為<04480><06440>示撒<07895>就聚集<0622>(8738)在<0413>耶路撒冷<03389>。有先知<05030>示瑪雅<08098>去<0935>(8804)見<0413>羅波安<07346>和眾首領<08269>，對他們<09001>說<0559>(8799)：「耶和華<03068>如此<03541>說<0559>(8804)：『你們<0859>離棄了<05800>(8804)我<0853>，{<0637>}所以我<0589>使你們<0853>落<05800>(8804)在示撒<07895>手裡<09002><03027>。』」
Then came<0935>(8804) Shemaiah<08098> the prophet<05030> to Rehoboam<07346>, and to the princes<08269> of Judah<03063>, that were gathered together<0622>(8738) to Jerusalem<03389> because<06440> of Shishak<07895>, and said<0559>(8799) unto them, Thus saith<0559>(8804) the LORD<03068>, Ye have forsaken<05800>(8804) me, and therefore have I also<0637> left<05800>(8804) you in the hand<03027> of Shishak<07895>.
6 於是王<04428>和以色列<03478>的眾首領<08269>都自卑<03665>(8735)說<0559>(8799)：「耶和華<03068>是公義<06662>的。」
Whereupon the princes<08269> of Israel<03478> and the king<04428> humbled<03665>(8735) themselves; and they said<0559>(8799), The LORD<03068> is righteous<06662>.
7 耶和華<03068>見<09002><07200>(8800){<03588>}他們自卑<03665>(8738)，耶和華<03068>的話<01697>就臨<01961>到<0413>示瑪雅<08098>說<09001><0559>(8800)：「他們既自卑<03665>(8738)，我必不<03808>滅絕他們<07843>(8686)；必使他們<09001>略<09003><04592>得<05414>(8804)拯救<09001><06413>，我不<03808>藉著示撒<07895>的手<09002><03027>將我的怒氣<02534>倒<05413>(8799)在耶路撒冷<09002><03389>。
And when the LORD<03068> saw<07200>(8800) that they humbled<03665>(8738) themselves, the word<01697> of the LORD<03068> came to Shemaiah<08098>, saying<0559>(8800), They have humbled<03665>(8738) themselves; therefore I will not destroy<07843>(8686) them, but I will grant<05414>(8804) them some<04592> deliverance<06413>; and my wrath<02534> shall not be poured out<05413>(8799) upon Jerusalem<03389> by the hand<03027> of Shishak<07895>. {some: or, a little while}
8 然而<03588>他們必作<01961>示撒的<09001>僕人<09001><05650>，好叫他們知道<03045>(8799)，服事<05656>我與服事<05656>外邦人<0776>{<04467>}有何分別。」
Nevertheless they shall be his servants<05650>; that they may know<03045>(8799) my service<05656>, and the service<05656> of the kingdoms<04467> of the countries<0776>.
9 於是，埃及<04714>王<04428>示撒<07895>上來<05927>(8799)攻取<05921>耶路撒冷<03389>，奪了<03947>(8799){<0853>}{<0214>}耶和華<03068>殿<01004>和<0853>王<04428>宮<01004>裡的寶物<0214>，{<0853>}盡都<03605>帶走<03947>(8804)，又奪去<03947>(8799){<0853>}所羅門<08010>製造<06213>(8804)的<0834>金<02091>盾牌<04043>。
So Shishak<07895> king<04428> of Egypt<04714> came up<05927>(8799) against Jerusalem<03389>, and took away<03947>(8799) the treasures<0214> of the house<01004> of the LORD<03068>, and the treasures<0214> of the king's<04428> house<01004>; he took<03947>(8804) all: he carried away<03947>(8799) also the shields<04043> of gold<02091> which Solomon<08010> had made<06213>(8804).
10 羅波安<07346>王<04428>製造<06213>(8799)銅<05178>盾牌<04043>代替<08478>那金盾牌，交<06485>(8689)給<05921>{<03027>}守<08104>(8802)王<04428>宮<01004>門<06607>的護衛<07323>(8801)長<08269>看守。
Instead of which king<04428> Rehoboam<07346> made<06213>(8799) shields<04043> of brass<05178>, and committed<06485>(8689) them to the hands<03027> of the chief<08269> of the guard<07323>(8801), that kept<08104>(8802) the entrance<06607> of the king's<04428> house<01004>.
11 {<01961>}王<04428>每逢<04480><01767>進<0935>(8800)耶和華<03068>的殿<01004>，護衛兵<07323>(8801)就{<0935>}{(8804)}拿<05375>(8804)這盾牌，隨後仍將盾牌送回<07725>(8689)，放在<0413>護衛<07323>(8801)房<08372>。
And when<01767> the king<04428> entered<0935>(8800) into the house<01004> of the LORD<03068>, the guard<07323>(8801) came<0935>(8804) and fetched<05375>(8804) them, and brought them again<07725>(8689) into the guard<07323>(8801) chamber<08372>.
12 王自卑<09002><03665>(8736)的時候，耶和華<03068>的怒氣<0639>就轉消了<07725>(8804){<04480>}，不<03808>將他滅<09001><07843>(8687)盡<09001><03617>，並且<01571>在猶大<09002><03063>中間也有<01961>善益<02896>的事<01697>。
And when he humbled<03665>(8736) himself, the wrath<0639> of the LORD<03068> turned<07725>(8804) from him, that he would not destroy<07843>(8687) him altogether<03617>: and also in Judah<03063> things<01697> went well<02896>. {and also...: or, and yet in Judah there were good things}
13 羅波安<07346>王<04428>自強<02388>(8691)，在耶路撒冷<09002><03389>作王<04427>(8799)。{<03588>}{<07346>}他登基<09002><04427>(8800)的時候年<01121>四十<0705>一<0259>歲<08141>，在耶路撒冷<09002><03389>，就是<0834>耶和華<03068>從以色列<03478>眾<04480><03605>支派<07626>中所選擇<0977>(8804)立<09001><07760>(8800){<0853>}他名<08034>的{<08033>}城<05892>，作王<04427>(8804)十七<07651><06240>年<08141><05892>。羅波安的母親<0517>名<08034>叫拿瑪<05279>，是亞捫人<05985>。
So king<04428> Rehoboam<07346> strengthened<02388>(8691) himself in Jerusalem<03389>, and reigned<04427>(8799): for Rehoboam<07346> was one<0259> and forty<0705> years<08141> old<01121> when he began to reign<04427>(8800), and he reigned<04427>(8804) seventeen<07651><06240> years<08141> in Jerusalem<03389>, the city<05892> which the LORD<03068> had chosen<0977>(8804) out of all the tribes<07626> of Israel<03478>, to put<07760>(8800) his name<08034> there. And his mother's<0517> name<08034> was Naamah<05279> an Ammonitess<05985>.
14 羅波安行<06213>(8799)惡<07451>，因<03588>他不<03808>立定<03559>(8689)心意<03820>尋求<09001><01875>(8800){<0853>}耶和華<03068>。
And he did<06213>(8799) evil<07451>, because he prepared<03559>(8689) not his heart<03820> to seek<01875>(8800) the LORD<03068>. {prepared: or, fixed}
15 羅波安<07346>所行的事<01697>，自始<07223>至終<0314>不<03808>都<01992>寫<03789>(8803)在先知<05030>示瑪雅<08098>{<09002>}{<01697>}和先見<02374>易多<05714>的史記<09001><03187>(8692)上嗎？羅波安<07346>與耶羅波安<03379>時常<03605><03117>爭戰<04421>。
Now the acts<01697> of Rehoboam<07346>, first<07223> and last<0314>, are they not written<03789>(8803) in the book<01697> of Shemaiah<08098> the prophet<05030>, and of Iddo<05714> the seer<02374> concerning genealogies<03187>(8692)? And there were wars<04421> between Rehoboam<07346> and Jeroboam<03379> continually<03117>. {book: Heb. words}
16 羅波安<07346>與<05973>他列祖<01>同睡<07901>(8799)，葬<06912>(8735)在大衛<01732>城<09002><05892>裡。他兒子<01121>亞比雅<029>接續他<08478>作王<04427>(8799)。
And Rehoboam<07346> slept<07901>(8799) with his fathers<01>, and was buried<06912>(8735) in the city<05892> of David<01732>: and Abijah<029> his son<01121> reigned<04427>(8799) in his stead. {Abijah: also called, Abijam}
