14 泰爾<06865>王<04428>希蘭<02438>(8676)<02361>將香柏<0730>木<06086>運到大衛<01732>那裡，又差遣<07971>(8799)使者<04397>和石匠<02796><07023>、木匠<02796><06086>給<0413>大衛<01732>建造<09001><01129>(8800){<09001>}宮殿<01004>。
Now Hiram<02438>(8676)<02361> king<04428> of Tyre<06865> sent<07971>(8799) messengers<04397> to David<01732>, and timber<06086> of cedars<0730>, with masons<07023> and carpenters<02796>, to build<01129>(8800) him an house<01004>.
2 大衛<01732>就知道<03045>(8799){<03588>}耶和華<03068>堅立他<03559>(8689)作<05921>以色列<03478>王<09001><04428>，又為<09002><05668>自己的民<05971>以色列<03478>，{<03588>}使他的國<04438>興<05375>(8738)旺<09001><04605>。
And David<01732> perceived<03045>(8799) that the LORD<03068> had confirmed<03559>(8689) him king<04428> over Israel<03478>, for his kingdom<04438> was lifted up<05375>(8738) on high<04605>, because of his people<05971> Israel<03478>.
3 大衛<01732>在耶路撒冷<09002><03389>又<05750>立<03947>(8799)后妃<0802>，{<01732>}又<05750>生<03205>(8686)兒<01121>女<01323>。
And David<01732> took<03947>(8799) more wives<0802> at Jerusalem<03389>: and David<01732> begat<03205>(8686) more sons<01121> and daughters<01323>. {more: Heb. yet}
4 在耶路撒冷<09002><03389>所<0834>{<01961>}{<09001>}生的眾子<03205>(8803){<0428>}{<08034>}是沙母亞<08051>、朔罷<07727>、拿單<05416>、所羅門<08010>、
Now these are the names<08034> of his children<03205>(8803) which he had in Jerusalem<03389>; Shammua<08051>, and Shobab<07727>, Nathan<05416>, and Solomon<08010>,
5 益轄<02984>、以利書亞<0474>、以法列<0467>、
And Ibhar<02984>, and Elishua<0474>, and Elpalet<0467>,
6 挪迦<05052>、尼斐<05298>、雅非亞<03309>、
And Nogah<05052>, and Nepheg<05298>, and Japhia<03309>,
7 以利沙瑪<0476>、比利雅大<01182>、以利法列<0467>。
And Elishama<0476>, and Beeliada<01182>, and Eliphalet<0467>. {Beeliada: also called, Eliada}
8 非利士人<06430>聽見<08085>(8799){<03588>}大衛<01732>受膏<04886>(8738)作<05921>以色列<03478>眾人<03605>的王<09001><04428>，非利士<06430>眾人<03605>就上來<05927>(8799)尋索<09001><01245>(8763){<0853>}大衛<01732>。大衛<01732>聽見<08085>(8799)，就出去<03318>(8799)迎敵<09001><06440>。
And when the Philistines<06430> heard<08085>(8799) that David<01732> was anointed<04886>(8738) king<04428> over all Israel<03478>, all the Philistines<06430> went up<05927>(8799) to seek<01245>(8763) David<01732>. And David<01732> heard<08085>(8799) of it , and went out<03318>(8799) against<06440> them.
9 非利士人<06430>來了<0935>(8804)，布散<06584>(8799)在利乏音<07497>谷<09002><06010>。
And the Philistines<06430> came<0935>(8804) and spread<06584>(8799) themselves in the valley<06010> of Rephaim<07497>.
10 大衛<01732>求問<07592>(8799)　神<09002><0430>，說<09001><0559>(8800)：「我可以上去<05927>(8799)攻打<05921>非利士人<06430>嗎？你將他們交<05414>(8804)在我手裡<09002><03027>嗎？」耶和華<03068>說<0559>(8799){<09001>}：「你可以上去<05927>(8798)，我必將他們交<05414>(8804)在你手裡<09002><03027>。」
And David<01732> enquired<07592>(8799) of God<0430>, saying<0559>(8800), Shall I go up<05927>(8799) against the Philistines<06430>? and wilt thou deliver<05414>(8804) them into mine hand<03027>? And the LORD<03068> said<0559>(8799) unto him, Go up<05927>(8798); for I will deliver<05414>(8804) them into thine hand<03027>.
11 非利士人來<05927>(8799)到巴力‧毘拉心<09002><01188>，大衛<01732>在那裡<08033>殺敗他們<05221>(8686)。大衛<01732>說<0559>(8799)：「　神<0430>藉我的手<09002><03027>沖破<06555>(8804){<0853>}敵人<0341>(8802)，如同水<04325>沖去<09003><06556>一般」；因<05921>此<03651>稱<07121>(8804)那<01931>地方<04725>{<08034>}為巴力‧毘拉心<01188>。
So they came up<05927>(8799) to Baalperazim<01188>; and David<01732> smote<05221>(8686) them there. Then David<01732> said<0559>(8799), God<0430> hath broken in<06555>(8804) upon mine enemies<0341>(8802) by mine hand<03027> like the breaking forth<06556> of waters<04325>: therefore they called<07121>(8804) the name<08034> of that place<04725> Baalperazim<01188>. {Baalperazim: that is, A place of breaches}
12 非利士人將<0853>神像<0430>撇<05800>(8799)在那裡<08033>，大衛<01732>吩咐<0559>(8799)人用火<09002><0784>焚燒了<08313>(8735)。
And when they had left<05800>(8799) their gods<0430> there, David<01732> gave a commandment<0559>(8799), and they were burned<08313>(8735) with fire<0784>.
13 非利士人<06430>又<03254>(8686){<05750>}布散<06584>(8799)在利乏音谷<09002><06010>。
And the Philistines<06430> yet again<03254>(8686) spread themselves abroad<06584>(8799) in the valley<06010>.
14 大衛<01732>又<05750>求問<07592>(8799)　神<09002><0430>。　神<0430>說<0559>(8799){<09001>}：「不要<03808>一直地{<0310>}上去<05927>(8799)，要轉<05437>(8685)到<04480><05921>他們後頭<0310>，從桑林<01057>對面<04480><04136>攻打<0935>(8804)他們<09001>。
Therefore David<01732> enquired<07592>(8799) again of God<0430>; and God<0430> said<0559>(8799) unto him, Go not up<05927>(8799) after<0310> them; turn away<05437>(8685) from them, and come<0935>(8804) upon them over against<04136> the mulberry trees<01057>.
15 {<01961>}你聽見<09003><08085>(8800){<0853>}桑樹<01057>梢上<09002><07218>有腳步<06807>的聲音<06963>，就<0227>要出<03318>(8799)戰<09002><04421>，因為<03588>　神<0430>已經在你前頭<09001><06440>去<03318>(8804)攻打<09001><05221>(8687){<0853>}非利士人<06430>的軍隊<04264>。」
And it shall be, when thou shalt hear<08085>(8800) a sound<06963> of going<06807> in the tops<07218> of the mulberry trees<01057>, that then thou shalt go out<03318>(8799) to battle<04421>: for God<0430> is gone forth<03318>(8804) before<06440> thee to smite<05221>(8687) the host<04264> of the Philistines<06430>.
16 大衛<01732>就遵著<06213>(8799)　神<0430>所<09003><0834>吩咐的<06680>(8765)，攻打<05221>(8686){<0853>}非利士人<06430>的軍隊<04264>，從基遍<04480><01391>直到<05704>基色<01507>。
David<01732> therefore did<06213>(8799) as God<0430> commanded<06680>(8765) him: and they smote<05221>(8686) the host<04264> of the Philistines<06430> from Gibeon<01391> even to Gazer<01507>. {Gibeon: also called, Geba}
17 於是大衛<01732>的名<08034>傳揚<03318>(8799)到列<09002><03605>國<0776>，耶和華<03068>使<05414>(8804){<05921>}列<03605>國<01471>都{<0853>}懼怕他<06343>。
And the fame<08034> of David<01732> went out<03318>(8799) into all lands<0776>; and the LORD<03068> brought<05414>(8804) the fear<06343> of him upon all nations<01471>.
