Then all Israel<03478> gathered<06908>(8735) themselves to David<01732> unto Hebron<02275>, saying<0559>(8800), Behold, we are thy bone<06106> and thy flesh<01320>.

10 以<0428>下記錄跟隨<0834>大衛<09001><01732>勇士<01368>的首領<07218>，就是奮勇<02388>(8693)幫助他<05973>得國<09002><04438>、照著耶和華<03068>吩咐<05921>以色列人<03478>的話<09003><01697>、與<05973>{<03605>}以色列人<03478>一同立他作王<09001><04427>(8687)的。
These also are the chief<07218> of the mighty men<01368> whom David<01732> had, who strengthened<02388>(8693) themselves with him in his kingdom<04438>, and with all Israel<03478>, to make him king<04427>(8687), according to the word<01697> of the LORD<03068> concerning Israel<03478>. {strengthened...: or, held strongly with him}

And David<01732> was then in the hold<04686>, and the Philistines<06430>' garrison<05333> was then at Bethlehem<01035>.
17 大衛<01732>渴想<0183>(8691)，說<0559>(8799)：「甚願有人<04310>將<0834>伯利恆<01035>城門<09002><08179>旁井<04480><0953>裡的水<04325>打來給我喝<08248>(8686)！」
And David<01732> longed<0183>(8691), and said<0559>(8799), Oh that one would give me drink<08248>(8686) of the water<04325> of the well<0953> of Bethlehem<01035>, that is at the gate<08179>!

19 說<0559>(8799)：「我的　神<04480><0430>啊，這<0428>三個人<0582>冒死<09002><05315>{<03588>}{<09002>}{<05315>}去打{<0935>}{(8689)}水，這水好像他們的血<01818>一般，我<09001>斷不<02486>敢{<04480>}{<06213>}{(8800)}{<02063>}喝<08354>(8799)！」如此，大衛不<03808>肯<014>(8804)喝<09001><08354>(8800)。這<0428>是三個<07969>勇士<01368>所做<06213>(8804)的事。
And said<0559>(8799), My God<0430> forbid<02486> it me, that I should do<06213>(8800) this thing<02063>: shall I drink<08354>(8799) the blood<01818> of these men<0582> that have put their lives in jeopardy<05315>? for with the jeopardy of their lives<05315> they brought<0935>(8689) it. 20 約押<03097>的兄弟<0251>亞比篩<052>{<01931>}是<01961>這三個<07969>勇士的首領<07218>；他<01931>舉<05782>(8790){<0853>}槍<02595>殺了<05921>三<07969>百<03967>人<02491>，就在三個<09002><07969>勇士裡得了名<08034>{<09001>}。
And Abishai<052> the brother<0251> of Joab<03097>, he was chief<07218> of the three<07969>: for lifting up<05782>(8790) his spear<02595> against three<07969> hundred<03967>, he slew<02491> them , and had a name<08034> among the three<07969>.
21 他在這三個<07969>勇士裡<04480>是最尊貴的<03513>(8737){<09002>}{<08147>}，所以作<01961>他們<09001>的首領<09001><08269>；只是不<03808>及<0935>(8804){<05704>}前三個<07969>勇士。
Of the three<07969>, he was more honourable<03513>(8737) than the two<08147>; for he was their captain<08269>: howbeit he attained<0935>(8804) not to the first three<07969>.
22 有<04480>甲薛<06909>勇<02428>士<0376>{<01121>}耶何耶大<03077>的兒子<01121>比拿雅<01141>行過大能<07227>的事<06467>：他<01931>殺了<05221>(8689){<0853>}摩押人<04124>亞利伊勒<0740><0739>的兩個<08147>兒子<0739>，又<01931>在下雪<07950>的時候<09002><03117>下<03381>(8804)坑<0953>裡<09002><08432>去殺了<05221>(8689){<0853>}一個獅子<0738>，

These things did<06213>(8804) Benaiah<01141> the son<01121> of Jehoiada<03077>, and had the name<08034> among the three<07969> mighties<01368>.
25 {<02009>}他<01931>比<04480>那三十<07970>個勇士都尊貴<03513>(8737)，只是不<03808>及<0935>(8804){<0413>}前三個<07969>勇士。大衛<01732>立他<07760>(8799)作<05921>護衛長<04928>。
Behold<02009>, he was honourable<03513>(8737) among the thirty<07970>, but attained<0935>(8804) not to the first three<07969>: and David<01732> set<07760>(8799) him over his guard<04928>.
26 軍中<02428>的勇士<01368>有約押<03097>的兄弟<0251>亞撒黑<06214>，伯利恆人<04480><01035>朵多<01734>的兒子<01121>伊勒哈難<0445>，
Also the valiant men<01368> of the armies<02428> were , Asahel<06214> the brother<0251> of Joab<03097>, Elhanan<0445> the son<01121> of Dodo<01734> of Bethlehem<01035>,
