19 {<01961>}希西家<02396>王<04428>聽見<09003><08085>(8800)，就撕裂<07167>(8799){<0853>}衣服<0899>，披上<03680>(8691)麻布<09002><08242>，進了<0935>(8799)耶和華<03068>的殿<01004>；
And it came to pass, when king<04428> Hezekiah<02396> heard<08085>(8800) it , that he rent<07167>(8799) his clothes<0899>, and covered<03680>(8691) himself with sackcloth<08242>, and went<0935>(8799) into the house<01004> of the LORD<03068>.
2 使<07971>(8799){<0853>}{<05921>}家<01004>宰<0834>以利亞敬<0471>和書記<05608>(8802)舍伯那<07644>，並<0853>祭司<03548>中的長老<02205>，都披上<03680>(8693)麻布<09002><08242>，去見<0413>亞摩斯<0531>的兒子<01121>先知<05030>以賽亞<03470>，
And he sent<07971>(8799) Eliakim<0471>, which was over the household<01004>, and Shebna<07644> the scribe<05608>(8802), and the elders<02205> of the priests<03548>, covered<03680>(8693) with sackcloth<08242>, to Isaiah<03470> the prophet<05030> the son<01121> of Amoz<0531>.
3 對他<0413>說<0559>(8799)：「希西家<02396>如此<03541>說<0559>(8804)：『今<02088>日<03117>是急難<06869>、責罰<08433>、凌辱<05007>的日子<03117>，就<03588>如婦人將<05704>要<0935>(8804)生產<04866>嬰孩<01121>，卻沒<0369>有力量<03581>生產<09001><03205>(8800)。
And they said<0559>(8799) unto him, Thus saith<0559>(8804) Hezekiah<02396>, This day<03117> is a day<03117> of trouble<06869>, and of rebuke<08433>, and blasphemy<05007>: for the children<01121> are come<0935>(8804) to the birth<04866>, and there is not strength<03581> to bring forth<03205>(8800). {blasphemy: or, provocation}
4 或者<0194>耶和華<03068>─你的　神<0430>聽見<08085>(8799){<0853>}拉伯沙基<07262>的一切<03605>話<01697>，就是<0834>他主人<0113>亞述<0804>王<04428>打發<07971>(8804)他來辱罵<09001><02778>(8763)永生<02416>　神<0430>的話，耶和華<03068>─你的　神<0430>聽見<08085>(8804){<0834>}這話<09002><01697>，就發斥責<03198>(8689)。故此，求你為<01157>餘剩的<04672>(8737)民<07611>揚聲<05375>(8804)禱告<08605>。』」
It may be<0194> the LORD<03068> thy God<0430> will hear<08085>(8799) all the words<01697> of Rabshakeh<07262>, whom the king<04428> of Assyria<0804> his master<0113> hath sent<07971>(8804) to reproach<02778>(8763) the living<02416> God<0430>; and will reprove<03198>(8689) the words<01697> which the LORD<03068> thy God<0430> hath heard<08085>(8804): wherefore lift up<05375>(8804) thy prayer<08605> for the remnant<07611> that are left<04672>(8737). {left: Heb. found}
5 希西家<02396>王<04428>的臣僕<05650>就去<0935>(8799)見<0413>以賽亞<03470>。
So the servants<05650> of king<04428> Hezekiah<02396> came<0935>(8799) to Isaiah<03470>.
6 以賽亞<03470>對他們<09001>說<0559>(8799)：「要這樣<03541>對<0413>你們的主人<0113>說<0559>(8799)，耶和華<03068>如此<03541>說<0559>(8804)：『{<04480>}{<06440>}你聽見<08085>(8804){<0834>}亞述<0804>王<04428>的僕人<05288>褻瀆<01442>(8765)我<0853>的<0834>話<01697>，不要<0408>懼怕<03372>(8799)。
And Isaiah<03470> said<0559>(8799) unto them, Thus shall ye say<0559>(8799) to your master<0113>, Thus saith<0559>(8804) the LORD<03068>, Be not afraid<03372>(8799) of<06440> the words<01697> which thou hast heard<08085>(8804), with which the servants<05288> of the king<04428> of Assyria<0804> have blasphemed<01442>(8765) me.

Behold, I will send<05414>(8802) a blast<07307> upon him, and he shall hear<08085>(8804) a rumour<08052>, and shall return<07725>(8804) to his own land<0776>; and I will cause him to fall<05307>(8689) by the sword<02719> in his own land<0776>.
8 拉伯沙基<07262>回去<07725>(8799)，正遇見<04672>(8799){<0853>}亞述<0804>王<04428>攻打<03898>(8737){<05921>}立拿<03841>，原來<03588>他早聽見<08085>(8804){<03588>}亞述王拔營離開<05265>(8804)拉吉<04480><03923>。
So Rabshakeh<07262> returned<07725>(8799), and found<04672>(8799) the king<04428> of Assyria<0804> warring<03898>(8737) against Libnah<03841>: for he had heard<08085>(8804) that he was departed<05265>(8804) from Lachish<03923>.
9 亞述王聽見<08085>(8799)人論<0413>古實<03568>王<04428>特哈加<08640>說<09001><0559>(8800)：「{<02009>}他出來<03318>(8804)要與你<0854>爭戰<09001><03898>(8736)。」於是亞述王又<07725>(8799)打發<07971>(8799)使者<04397>去見<0413>希西家<02396>，吩咐他們說<09001><0559>(8800)：
And when he heard<08085>(8799) say<0559>(8800) of Tirhakah<08640> king<04428> of Ethiopia<03568>, Behold, he is come out<03318>(8804) to fight<03898>(8736) against thee: he sent<07971>(8799) messengers<04397> again<07725>(8799) unto Hezekiah<02396>, saying<0559>(8800),
10 「你們對<0413>猶大<03063>王<04428>希西家<02396>如此<03541>說<0559>(8799){<09001>}{<0559>}{(8800)}：『不要<0408>聽你<0859>所<0834>倚靠的<0982>(8802){<09002>}　神<0430>欺哄你<05377>(8686)，說<09001><0559>(8800)耶路撒冷<03389>必不<03808>交<05414>(8735)在亞述<0804>王<04428>的手中<09002><03027>。
Thus shall ye speak<0559>(8799) to Hezekiah<02396> king<04428> of Judah<03063>, saying<0559>(8800), Let not thy God<0430> in whom thou trustest<0982>(8802) deceive<05377>(8686) thee, saying<0559>(8800), Jerusalem<03389> shall not be delivered<05414>(8735) into the hand<03027> of the king<04428> of Assyria<0804>.
11 {<02009>}你<0859>總聽說<08085>(8804){<0853>}亞述<0804>諸王<04428>向列<09001><03605>國<0776>所<0834>行的<06213>(8804)，乃是盡行滅絕<09001><02763>(8687)，難道你<0859>還能得救<05337>(8735)嗎？
Behold, thou hast heard<08085>(8804) what the kings<04428> of Assyria<0804> have done<06213>(8804) to all lands<0776>, by destroying them utterly<02763>(8687): and shalt thou be delivered<05337>(8735)?
12 我列祖<01>所<0834>毀滅的<07843>(8765)，就是<0853>歌散<01470>、{<0853>}哈蘭<02771>、利色<07530>，和屬<0834>提．拉撒<09002><08515>的伊甸<05729>人<01121>，這些國<01471>的神<0430>何曾拯救<05337>(8689)這些國<0853>呢？
Have the gods<0430> of the nations<01471> delivered<05337>(8689) them which my fathers<01> have destroyed<07843>(8765); as Gozan<01470>, and Haran<02771>, and Rezeph<07530>, and the children<01121> of Eden<05729> which were in Thelasar<08515>?
13 哈馬<02574>的王<04428>、亞珥拔<0774>的王<04428>、西法瓦音<05617>城<09001><05892>的王<04428>、希拿<02012>，和以瓦<05755>的王都在哪裡<0346>呢？』」
Where is the king<04428> of Hamath<02574>, and the king<04428> of Arpad<0774>, and the king<04428> of the city<05892> of Sepharvaim<05617>, of Hena<02012>, and Ivah<05755>?
14 希西家<02396>從使者<04397>手<04480><03027>裡接過{<0853>}書信<05612>來，看完了<07121>(8799)，就上<05927>(8799){<02396>}耶和華<03068>的殿<01004>，將書信在耶和華<03068>面前<09001><06440>展開<06566>(8799)。
And Hezekiah<02396> received<03947>(8799) the letter<05612> of the hand<03027> of the messengers<04397>, and read<07121>(8799) it: and Hezekiah<02396> went up<05927>(8799) into the house<01004> of the LORD<03068>, and spread<06566>(8799) it before<06440> the LORD<03068>.
15 希西家<02396>向<09001><06440>耶和華<03068>禱告<06419>(8691)說<0559>(8799)：「坐在<03427>(8802)二基路伯<03742>上耶和華<03068>─以色列<03478>的　神<0430>啊，你<0859>是<01931>{<09001>}{<0905>}天下<0776>萬<09001><03605>國<04467>的　神<0430>，你<0859>曾創造<06213>(8804){<0853>}天<08064>{<0853>}地<0776>。
And Hezekiah<02396> prayed<06419>(8691) before<06440> the LORD<03068>, and said<0559>(8799), O LORD<03068> God<0430> of Israel<03478>, which dwellest<03427>(8802) between the cherubims<03742>, thou art the God<0430>, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms<04467> of the earth<0776>; thou hast made<06213>(8804) heaven<08064> and earth<0776>.
16 耶和華<03068>啊，求你側<05186>(8685)耳<0241>而聽<08085>(8798)！耶和華<03068>啊，求你睜<06491>(8798)眼<05869>而看<07200>(8798)！要聽<08085>(8798){<0853>}西拿基立<05576>{<0834>}打發<07971>(8804)使者來辱罵<09001><02778>(8763)永生<02416>　神<0430>的話<01697>。
LORD<03068>, bow down<05186>(8685) thine ear<0241>, and hear<08085>(8798): open<06491>(8798), LORD<03068>, thine eyes<05869>, and see<07200>(8798): and hear<08085>(8798) the words<01697> of Sennacherib<05576>, which hath sent<07971>(8804) him to reproach<02778>(8763) the living<02416> God<0430>.
17 耶和華<03068>啊，亞述<0804>諸王<04428>果然<0551>使<0853>列國<01471>和<0853>列國之地<0776>變為荒涼<02717>(8689)，
Of a truth<0551>, LORD<03068>, the kings<04428> of Assyria<0804> have destroyed<02717>(8689) the nations<01471> and their lands<0776>,
18 將<0853>列國的神<0430>像都扔<05414>(8804)在火<09002><0784>裡；因為<03588>它<01992>本不是<03808>神<0430>，乃是<03588><0518>人<0120>手<03027>所造<04639>的，是木頭<06086>石頭<068>的，所以滅絕它<06>(8762)。
And have cast<05414>(8804) their gods<0430> into the fire<0784>: for they were no gods<0430>, but the work<04639> of men's<0120> hands<03027>, wood<06086> and stone<068>: therefore they have destroyed<06>(8762) them. {cast: Heb. given}
19 耶和華<03068>─我們的　神<0430>啊，現在<06258>求<04994>你救我們<03467>(8685)脫離亞述王的手<04480><03027>，使天下<0776>萬<03605>國<04467>都知道<03045>(8799){<03588>}惟獨<09001><0905>你<0859>─耶和華<03068>是　神<0430>！」
Now therefore, O LORD<03068> our God<0430>, I beseech thee, save<03467>(8685) thou us out of his hand<03027>, that all the kingdoms<04467> of the earth<0776> may know<03045>(8799) that thou art the LORD<03068> God<0430>, even thou only.
20 亞摩斯<0531>的兒子<01121>以賽亞<03470>就打發<07971>(8799)人去見<0413>希西家<02396>，說<09001><0559>(8800)：「耶和華<03068>─以色列<03478>的　神<0430>如此<03541>說<0559>(8804)：『你既然<0834>求<06419>(8694)我<0413>攻擊<0413>亞述<0804>王<04428>西拿基立<05576>，我已聽見了<08085>(8804)。』
Then Isaiah<03470> the son<01121> of Amoz<0531> sent<07971>(8799) to Hezekiah<02396>, saying<0559>(8800), Thus saith<0559>(8804) the LORD<03068> God<0430> of Israel<03478>, That which thou hast prayed<06419>(8694) to me against Sennacherib<05576> king<04428> of Assyria<0804> I have heard<08085>(8804).
21 耶和華<03068>論他<05921>{<0834>}這<02088>樣<01697>說<01696>(8765)：錫安<06726>的處女<01330><01323>藐視<0959>(8804)你<09001>，嗤笑<03932>(8804)你<09001>；耶路撒冷<03389>的女子<01323>向你<0310>搖<05128>(8689)頭<07218>。
This is the word<01697> that the LORD<03068> hath spoken<01696>(8765) concerning him; The virgin<01330> the daughter<01323> of Zion<06726> hath despised<0959>(8804) thee, and laughed thee to scorn<03932>(8804); the daughter<01323> of Jerusalem<03389> hath shaken<05128>(8689) her head<07218> at thee<0310>.
22 你辱罵<02778>(8765){<0853>}誰<04310>？褻瀆<01442>(8765){<05921>}誰<04310>？揚起<07311>(8689)聲<06963>來，高<04791>舉<05375>(8799)眼目<05869>攻擊誰呢？乃是攻擊<05921>以色列<03478>的聖者<06918>！
Whom hast thou reproached<02778>(8765) and blasphemed<01442>(8765)? and against whom hast thou exalted<07311>(8689) thy voice<06963>, and lifted up<05375>(8799) thine eyes<05869> on high<04791>? even against the Holy<06918> One of Israel<03478>.
23 你藉<09002><03027>你的使者<04397>辱罵<02778>(8765)主<0136>，並說<0559>(8799)：我<0589>率領許多<09002><07230>戰車<09002><07393>(8675)<07393>上<05927>(8804)山<02022>頂<04791>，到黎巴嫩<03844>極深之處<03411>；我要砍伐<03772>(8799)其中高大的<06967>香柏樹<0730>和佳美的<04004>松樹<01265>；我必上<0935>(8799)極<07093>高之處<04411>，進入肥田<03759>的樹林<03293>。
By<03027> thy messengers<04397> thou hast reproached<02778>(8765) the Lord<0136>, and hast said<0559>(8799), With the multitude<07230> of my chariots<07393>(8675)<07393> I am come up<05927>(8804) to the height<04791> of the mountains<02022>, to the sides<03411> of Lebanon<03844>, and will cut down<03772>(8799) the tall<06967> cedar trees<0730> thereof, and the choice<04004> fir trees<01265> thereof: and I will enter<0935>(8799) into the lodgings<04411> of his borders<07093>, and into the forest<03293> of his Carmel<03760>. {By: Heb. 24 我<0589>已經在外邦<02114>(8801)挖<06979>(8804)井喝<08354>(8804)水<04325>；我必用腳<06471>掌<09002><03709>踏乾<02717>(8686)埃及<04693>的一切<03605>河<02975>。
I have digged<06979>(8804) and drunk<08354>(8804) strange<02114>(8801) waters<04325>, and with the sole<03709> of my feet<06471> have I dried<02717>(8686) up all the rivers<02975> of besieged places<04693>. {besieged: or, fenced}
25 耶和華說，我早先<09001><04480><07350>所做<06213>(8804)的{<0853>}，古<06924>時<09001><04480><03117>所立的<03335>(8804)，就是現在<06258>{<0935>}{(8689)}藉你使<01961>堅固<01219>(8803)城<05892>荒廢<09001><07582>(8687)，變為亂<05327>(8737)堆<01530>，這事你豈沒有<03808>聽見<08085>(8804)嗎？
Hast thou not heard<08085>(8804) long ago<07350> how I have done<06213>(8804) it, and of ancient<06924> times<03117> that I have formed<03335>(8804) it? now have I brought<0935>(8689) it to pass, that thou shouldest be to lay waste<07582>(8687) fenced<01219>(8803) cities<05892> into ruinous<05327>(8737) heaps<01530>. {long...: or, how I have made it long ago, and formed it of ancient times? should I now bring it to be laid waste, and fenced cities to be ruinous heaps?}
26 所以其中的居民<03427>(8802)力量<03027>甚小<07116>，驚惶<02865>(8804)羞愧<0954>(8799)。他們<01961>像野<07704>草<06212>，像青<03419>菜<01877>，如房頂上<01406>的草<02682>，又如未長成<09001><06440>而枯乾的<07711>禾稼<07054>。
Therefore their inhabitants<03427>(8802) were of small<07116> power<03027>, they were dismayed<02865>(8804) and confounded<0954>(8799); they were as the grass<06212> of the field<07704>, and as the green<03419> herb<01877>, as the grass<02682> on the housetops<01406>, and as corn blasted<07711> before<06440> it be grown up<07054>. {of small...: Heb. short of hand}
27 你坐下<03427>(8800)，你出去<03318>(8800)，你進來<0935>(8800)，{<0853>}你向我<0413>發烈怒<07264>(8692)，我都知道<03045>(8804)。
But I know<03045>(8804) thy abode<03427>(8800), and thy going out<03318>(8800), and thy coming in<0935>(8800), and thy rage<07264>(8692) against me. {abode: or, sitting}
28 因<03282>你向我<0413>發烈怒<07264>(8692)，又因你狂傲的<07600>話達到<05927>(8804)我耳中<09002><0241>，我就要用<07760>(8804)鉤子<02397>鉤上你的鼻子<09002><0639>，把嚼環<04964>放在你口<09002><08193>裡，使你從你來<0935>(8804){<09002>}的<0834>路<09002><01870>轉回<07725>(8689)去。
Because thy rage<07264>(8692) against me and thy tumult<07600> is come up<05927>(8804) into mine ears<0241>, therefore I will put<07760>(8804) my hook<02397> in thy nose<0639>, and my bridle<04964> in thy lips<08193>, and I will turn thee back<07725>(8689) by the way<01870> by which thou camest<0935>(8804).
29 「以色列人哪，我賜你們<09001>一個<02088>證據<0226>：你們今年<08141>要吃<0398>(8800)自生<05599>的，明<08145>年<09002><08141>也要吃自長的<07823>；至於後<07992>年<09002><08141>，你們要耕種<02232>(8798)收割<07114>(8798)，栽植<05193>(8798)葡萄園<03754>，吃<0398>(8798)其中的果子<06529>。
And this shall be a sign<0226> unto thee, Ye shall eat<0398>(8800) this year<08141> such things as grow<05599> of themselves, and in the second<08145> year<08141> that which springeth<07823> of the same; and in the third<07992> year<08141> sow<02232>(8798) ye, and reap<07114>(8798), and plant<05193>(8798) vineyards<03754>, and eat<0398>(8798) the fruits<06529> thereof.
30 猶大<03063>家<01004>所逃脫<06413>餘剩的<07604>(8737)，仍要<03254>(8804)往下<09001><04295>扎根<08328>，向上<09001><04605>結<06213>(8804)果<06529>。
And the remnant<07604>(8737) that is escaped<06413> of the house<01004> of Judah<03063> shall yet again<03254>(8804) take root<08328> downward<04295>, and bear<06213>(8804) fruit<06529> upward<04605>. {remnant...: Heb. escaping of the house of Judah that remaineth}
31 必有<03588>餘剩的民<07611>從耶路撒冷<04480><03389>而出<03318>(8799)；必有逃脫<06413>的人從錫安<06726>山<04480><02022>而來。耶和華<03068>{(8675)}{<06635>}的熱心<07068>必成就<06213>(8799)這事<02063>。
For out of Jerusalem<03389> shall go forth<03318>(8799) a remnant<07611>, and they that escape<06413> out of mount<02022> Zion<06726>: the zeal<07068> of the LORD<03068> of hosts(8675)<06635> shall do<06213>(8799) this. {they...: Heb. the escaping}
32 「所以<09001><03651>，耶和華<03068>論<0413>亞述<0804>王<04428>如此<03541>說<0559>(8804)：『他必不得<03808>來<0935>(8799)到<0413>這<02063>城<05892>，也不<03808>在這裡<08033>射<03384>(8686)箭<02671>，不得<03808>拿盾牌<04043>到城前<06923>(8762)，也不<03808>築<08210>(8799)壘<05550>攻城<05921>。
Therefore thus saith<0559>(8804) the LORD<03068> concerning the king<04428> of Assyria<0804>, He shall not come<0935>(8799) into this city<05892>, nor shoot<03384>(8686) an arrow<02671> there, nor come before<06923>(8762) it with shield<04043>, nor cast<08210>(8799) a bank<05550> against it.
33 他從哪<0834>條路<09002><01870>來<0935>(8799){<09002>}，必從那條路回去<07725>(8799)，必不得<03808>來<0935>(8799)到<0413>這<02063>城<05892>。這是耶和華<03068>說的<05002>(8803)。
By the way<01870> that he came<0935>(8799), by the same shall he return<07725>(8799), and shall not come<0935>(8799) into this city<05892>, saith<05002>(8803) the LORD<03068>.
34 因我為自己的緣故<09001><04616>，又為<09001><04616>我僕人<05650>大衛<01732>的緣故，必保護<01598>(8804)拯救<09001><03467>(8687){<0413>}這<02063>城<05892>。』」
For I will defend<01598>(8804) this city<05892>, to save<03467>(8687) it, for mine own sake, and for my servant<05650> David's<01732> sake.
35 {<01961>}當<01931>夜<09002><03915>，耶和華<03068>的使者<04397>出去<03318>(8799)，在亞述<0804>營中<09002><04264>殺了<05221>(8686)十八萬五千<03967><08084><02568><0505>人。清早<09002><01242>有人起來<07925>(8686)，一看<02009>，都是<03605>死<04191>(8801)屍<06297>了。
And it came to pass that night<03915>, that the angel<04397> of the LORD<03068> went out<03318>(8799), and smote<05221>(8686) in the camp<04264> of the Assyrians<0804> an hundred<03967> fourscore<08084> and five<02568> thousand<0505>: and when they arose early<07925>(8686) in the morning<01242>, behold, they were all dead<04191>(8801) corpses<06297>.
36 亞述<0804>王<04428>西拿基立<05576>就拔營<05265>(8799)回<07725>(8799)去<03212>(8799)，住<03427>(8799)在尼尼微<09002><05210>。
So Sennacherib<05576> king<04428> of Assyria<0804> departed<05265>(8799), and went<03212>(8799) and returned<07725>(8799), and dwelt<03427>(8799) at Nineveh<05210>.
37 {<01961>}一日{<01931>}在他的神<0430>尼斯洛<05268>廟<01004>裡叩拜<07812>(8693)，他兒子<01121>亞得米勒<0152>和沙利色<08272>用刀<09002><02719>殺了他<05221>(8689)，{<01992>}就逃<04422>(8738)到亞拉臘<0780>地<0776>。他兒子<01121>以撒哈頓<0634>接續他<08478>作王<04427>(8799)。
And it came to pass, as he was worshipping<07812>(8693) in the house<01004> of Nisroch<05268> his god<0430>, that Adrammelech<0152> and Sharezer<08272> his sons<01121> smote<05221>(8689) him with the sword<02719>: and they escaped<04422>(8738) into the land<0776> of Armenia<0780>. And Esarhaddon<0634> his son<01121> reigned<04427>(8799) in his stead. {Armenia: Heb. Ararat}
