   the land of Ham, or rather, Cham, because it was peopled by
   Mizraim the son of Ham, and grandson of Noah.  Plutarch
   informs us, that the Egyptians called their country [Chemia,]
   Chemia; and the Copts give it the name of Chemi, [Chemi,] to
