             bearing the tabernacle.

   Reuben:---Simeon, Gad, Kohathites, with the sanctuary.

   Dan:------Asher, Naphtali.

   Among other things, it should be remarked, that, according to
   a well-known rule of military tactics, the advanced, and
   rear-guards, were stronger then the centre.
