44:1 约瑟吩咐<06680>(8762){<0853>}{<05921>}家<01004>宰<0834>说<09001><0559>(8800)：「把粮食<0400>装满<04390>(8761)这些人<0582>的<0853>口袋<0572>，尽着<09003><0834>他们的驴所能<03201>(8799)驮的<05375>(8800)，又把各人<0376>的银子<03701>放<07760>(8798)在各人的口<09002><06310>袋<0572>里，
And he commanded<06680>(8762) the steward of his house<01004>, saying<0559>(8800), Fill<04390>(8761) the men's<0582> sacks<0572> with food<0400>, as much as<0834> they can<03201>(8799) carry<05375>(8800), and put<07760>(8798) every man's<0376> money<03701> in his sack's<0572> mouth<06310>. {the steward...: Heb. him that was over his house}
44:2 并将<0853>我的<01375>银<03701>杯<01375>和<0853>那少年人<06996>籴粮<07668>的银子<03701>一同装<07760>(8799)在他的口<09002><06310>袋<0572>里。」家宰就照约瑟<03130>所<0834>说<01696>(8765)的话<09003><01697>行了<06213>(8799)；
And put<07760>(8799) my cup<01375>, the silver<03701> cup<01375>, in the sack's<0572> mouth<06310> of the youngest<06996>, and his corn<07668> money<03701>. And he did<06213>(8799) according to the word<01697> that Joseph<03130> had spoken<01696>(8765).
44:3 天<01242>一亮<0215>(8804)就打发<07971>(8795)那些人<0582>{<01992>}带着驴<02543>走了。
As soon as the morning<01242> was light<0215>(8804), the men<0582> were sent away<07971>(8795), they and their asses<02543>.
44:4 他们<01992>出<03318>(8804){<0853>}城<05892>走了不<03808>远<07368>(8689)，约瑟<03130>对{<05921>}家<01004>宰<09001><0834>说<0559>(8804)：「起来<06965>(8798)，追<07291>(8798)<0310>那些人<0582>去，追上了<05381>(8689)就对他们<0413>说<0559>(8804)：『你们为甚么<09001><04100>以<08478>恶<07451>报<07999>(8765)善<02896>呢？
And when they were gone out<03318>(8804) of the city<05892>, and not yet far off<07368>(8689), Joseph<03130> said<0559>(8804) unto his steward<01004>, Up<06965>(8798), follow<07291>(8798) after<0310> the men<0582>; and when thou dost overtake<05381>(8689) them, say<0559>(8804) unto them, Wherefore have ye rewarded<07999>(8765) evil<07451> for good<02896>?
44:5 这<02088>不是<03808>我主人<0113>饮酒<08354>(8799)的杯<0834><09002>吗？岂不是他<01931>占卜<05172>(8762)用的<05172>(8763)吗？你们这样<0834>行<06213>(8804)是作恶了<07489>(8689)。』」
Is not this it in which my lord<0113> drinketh<08354>(8799), and whereby indeed<05172>(8763) he divineth<05172>(8762)? ye have done evil<07489>(8689) in so doing<06213>(8804). {divineth: or, maketh trial?}
44:6 家宰追上他们<05381>(8686)，将<0853>这些<0428>话<01697>对他们<0413>说了<01696>(8762)。
And he overtook<05381>(8686) them, and he spake<01696>(8762) unto them these same<0428> words<01697>.
44:7 他们回答{<0413>}说<0559>(8799)：「我主<0113>为甚么<09001><04100>说<01696>(8762)这样<0428>的话<09003><01697>呢？你仆人<09001><05650>断不能<02486>做<04480><06213>(8800)这样<02088>的事<09003><01697>。
And they said<0559>(8799) unto him, Wherefore saith<01696>(8762) my lord<0113> these words<01697>? God forbid<02486> that thy servants<05650> should do<06213>(8800) according to this thing<01697>:
44:8 你看<02005>，我们从前在口<09002><06310>袋<0572>里所<0834>见的<04672>(8804)银子<03701>，尚且从迦南<03667>地<04480><0776>带来还<07725>(8689)你<0413>，我们怎能<0349>从你主人<0113>家<04480><01004>里偷窃<01589>(8799)金<02091>{<0176>}银<03701>呢？
Behold, the money<03701>, which we found<04672>(8804) in our sacks<0572>' mouths<06310>, we brought again<07725>(8689) unto thee out of the land<0776> of Canaan<03667>: how then should we steal<01589>(8799) out of thy lord's<0113> house<01004> silver<03701> or gold<02091>?
44:9 你仆人中<04480><05650>无论<0834>在谁那里<0854>搜出来<04672>(8735)，就叫他死<04191>(8804)，我们<0587>也<01571>作<01961>(8799)我主<09001><0113>的奴仆<09001><05650>。」
With whomsoever of thy servants<05650> it be found<04672>(8735), both let him die<04191>(8804), and we also will be my lord's<0113> bondmen<05650>.
44:10 家宰说<0559>(8799)：「现在<06258>就<01571>照你们的话<09003><01697>行吧<03651><01931>！在谁<0854>那里<0834>搜出来<04672>(8735)，谁就作<01961>(8799)我的<09001>奴仆<05650>；其余的<0859>都没有罪<01961>(8799)<05355>。」
And he said<0559>(8799), Now also let it be according unto your words<01697>:<03651> he with whom it is found<04672>(8735) shall be my servant<05650>; and ye shall be blameless<05355>.
44:11 于是他们各人<0376>急忙<04116>(8762)把<0853>口袋<0572>卸<03381>(8686)在地下<0776>，各人<0376>打开<06605>(8799)口袋<0572>。
Then they speedily<04116>(8762) took down<03381>(8686) every man<0376> his sack<0572> to the ground<0776>, and opened<06605>(8799) every man<0376> his sack<0572>.
44:12 家宰就搜查<02664>(8762)，从年长的<09002><01419>起<02490>(8689)到年幼的<09002><06996>为止<03615>(8765)，那杯<01375>竟在便雅悯<01144>的口袋<09002><0572>里搜出来<04672>(8735)。
And he searched<02664>(8762), and began<02490>(8689) at the eldest<01419>, and left<03615>(8765) at the youngest<06996>: and the cup<01375> was found<04672>(8735) in Benjamin's<01144> sack<0572>.
44:13 他们就撕裂<07167>(8799)衣服<08071>，各人<0376>把驮子抬<06006>(8799)在<05921>驴<02543>上，回<07725>(8799)城<05892>去了。
Then they rent<07167>(8799) their clothes<08071>, and laded<06006>(8799) every man<0376> his ass<02543>, and returned<07725>(8799) to the city<05892>.
44:14 犹大<03063>和他弟兄们<0251>来<0935>(8799)到约瑟<03130>的屋中<01004>，约瑟<01931>还在<05750>那里<08033>，他们就在他面前<09001><06440>俯伏<05307>(8799)于地<0776>。
And Judah<03063> and his brethren<0251> came<0935>(8799) to Joseph's<03130> house<01004>; for he was yet there: and they fell<05307>(8799) before him<06440> on the ground<0776>.
44:15 约瑟<03130>对他们<09001>说<0559>(8799)：「你们做的<0834><06213>(8804)是甚么<04100>事<04639><02088>呢？你们岂不<03808>知<03045>(8804)像我<03644>这样的<0834>人<0376>必<05172>(8763)能占卜<05172>(8762)吗？」
And Joseph<03130> said<0559>(8799) unto them, What deed<04639> is this that ye have done<06213>(8804)? wot ye<03045>(8804) not that such a man<0376> as I can certainly<05172>(8763) divine<05172>(8762)? {divine: or, make trial?}
44:16 犹大<03063>说<0559>(8799)：「我们对我主<09001><0113>说<0559>(8799)甚么<04100>呢？还有甚么<04100>话可说<01696>(8762)呢？我们怎能<04100>自己表白出来<06663>(8691)呢？　神<0430>已经查出<04672>(8804){<0853>}仆人<05650>的罪孽<05771>了。{<02009>}我们<0587>与<01571>那<0834>在他手中<09002><03027>搜出杯<01375>来的都<01571>是我主的<09001><0113>奴仆<05650>。」
And Judah<03063> said<0559>(8799), What shall we say<0559>(8799) unto my lord<0113>? what shall we speak<01696>(8762)? or how shall we clear ourselves<06663>(8691)? God<0430> hath found out<04672>(8804) the iniquity<05771> of thy servants<05650>: behold, we are my lord's<0113> servants<05650>, both we, and he also<01571> with whom<0834><03027> the cup<01375> is found<04672>(8738).
44:17 约瑟说<0559>(8799)：「我<09001>断不能<02486>这样<02063>行<04480><06213>(8800)！在谁<0376>的<0834>手中<09002><03027>搜出<04672>(8738)杯<01375>来，谁<01931>就作<01961>(8799)我的<09001>奴仆<05650>；至于你们<0859>，可以平平安安地<09001><07965>上<0413>你们父亲<01>那里去<05927>(8798)。」
And he said<0559>(8799), God forbid<02486> that I should do<06213>(8800) so<02063>: but the man<0376> in whose hand<03027> the cup<01375> is found<04672>(8738), he shall be my servant<05650>; and as for you, get you up<05927>(8798) in peace<07965> unto your father<01>.
44:18 犹大<03063>挨近<05066>(8799)他<0413>，说<0559>(8799)：「我主<0113>啊<0994>，求你<04994>容仆人<05650>说<01696>(8762)一句话<01697>给我主<0113>听<09002><0241>，不要<0408>向仆人<09002><05650>发<02734>(8799)烈怒<0639>，因为<03588>你如同<03644>法老<09003><06547>一样。
Then Judah<03063> came near<05066>(8799) unto him, and said<0559>(8799), Oh<0994> my lord<0113>, let thy servant<05650>, I pray thee, speak<01696>(8762) a word<01697> in my lord's<0113> ears<0241>, and let not thine anger<0639> burn<02734>(8799) against thy servant<05650>: for thou art even as Pharaoh<06547>.
44:19 我主<0113>曾问<07592>(8804){<0853>}仆人们<05650>说<09001><0559>(8800)：『你们有<03426>父亲<01>有<0176>兄弟<0251>没有？』
My lord<0113> asked<07592>(8804) his servants<05650>, saying<0559>(8800), Have<03426> ye a father<01>, or a brother<0251>?
44:20 我们对<0413>我主<0113>说<0559>(8799)：『我们<09001>有<03426>父亲<01>，已经年老<02205>，还有他老年<02208>所生的<03206>一个小孩子<06996>。他哥哥<0251>死了<04191>(8804)，他母亲<09001><0517>只撇下<03498>(8735)他<01931>一人<09001><0905>，他父亲<01>疼爱他<0157>(8804)。』
And we said<0559>(8799) unto my lord<0113>, We have<03426> a father<01>, an old man<02205>, and a child<03206> of his old age<02208>, a little one<06996>; and his brother<0251> is dead<04191>(8804), and he alone is left<03498>(8735) of his mother<0517>, and his father<01> loveth<0157>(8804) him.
44:21 你对<0413>仆人<05650>说<0559>(8799)：『把他带到<03381>(8685)我这里<0413>来，叫<07760>(8799)我亲眼<05869>看看他<05921>。』
And thou saidst<0559>(8799) unto thy servants<05650>, Bring him down<03381>(8685) unto me, that I may set<07760>(8799) mine eyes<05869> upon him.
44:22 我们对<0413>我主<0113>说<0559>(8799)：『童子<05288>不<03808>能<03201>(8799)离开<09001><05800>(8800){<0853>}他父亲<01>，若是离开<05800>(8804)，{<0853>}他父亲<01>必死<04191>(8804)。』
And we said<0559>(8799) unto my lord<0113>, The lad<05288> cannot<03201>(8799) leave<05800>(8800) his father<01>: for if he should leave<05800>(8804) his father<01>, his father would die<04191>(8804).
44:23 你对<0413>仆人<05650>说<0559>(8799)：『你们的小<06996>兄弟<0251>若<0518>不<03808>与你们一同<0854>下来<03381>(8799)，你们就不<03808>得再<03254>(8686)见<09001><07200>(8800)我的面<06440>。』
And thou saidst<0559>(8799) unto thy servants<05650>, Except<03808> your youngest<06996> brother<0251> come down<03381>(8799) with you, ye shall see<07200><00><03254><00> my face<06440> no more<07200>(8800)<03254>(8686).
44:24 {<01961>}{(8799)}{<03588>}我们上<05927>(8804)到<0413>你仆人<05650>―我们父亲<01>那里，就把<0853>我主<0113>的话<01697>告诉了<05046>(8686)他<09001>。
And it came to pass when we came up<05927>(8804) unto thy servant<05650> my father<01>, we told<05046>(8686) him the words<01697> of my lord<0113>.
44:25 我们的父亲<01>说<0559>(8799)：『你们再去<07725>(8798)给我<09001>籴<07666>(8798)些<04592>粮<0400>来。』
And our father<01> said<0559>(8799), Go again<07725>(8798), and buy<07666>(8798) us a little<04592> food<0400>.
44:26 我们就说<0559>(8799)：『我们不<03808>能<03201>(8799)下去<09001><03381>(8800)。我们的小<06996>兄弟<0251>若<0518>和我们<0854>同往<03426>，我们就可以下去<03381>(8804)。因为<03588>，小<06996>兄弟<0251>若不<0369>与我们<0854>同往，我们必不<03808>得<03201>(8799)见<09001><07200>(8800)那人<0376>的面<06440>。』
And we said<0559>(8799), We cannot<03201>(8799) go down<03381>(8800): if our youngest<06996> brother<0251> be<03426> with us, then will we go down<03381>(8804): for we may<03201>(8799) not see<07200>(8800) the man's<0376> face<06440>, except<0369> our youngest<06996> brother<0251> be with us.
44:27 你仆人<05650>―我父亲<01>对我们<0413>说<0559>(8799)：『你们<0859>知道<03045>(8804){<03588>}我的妻子<0802>给我<09001>生了<03205>(8804)两个<08147>儿子。
And thy servant<05650> my father<01> said<0559>(8799) unto us, Ye know<03045>(8804) that my wife<0802> bare<03205>(8804) me two<08147> sons :
44:28 一个<0259>离开我<04480><0854>出去了<03318>(8799)；我说<0559>(8799)他必<0389>是<02963>(8800)被撕碎了<02963>(8776)，直到<05704>如今<02008>我也没有<03808>见他<07200>(8804)。
And the one<0259> went out<03318>(8799) from me, and I said<0559>(8799), Surely<02963>(8800) he is torn in pieces<02963>(8776); and I saw him<07200>(8804) not since<02008>:
44:29 现在你们又<01571>要把<0853>这个<02088>带去<03947>(8804)离开<04480><05973>我<06440>，倘若他遭<07136>(8804)害<0611>，那便是你们使我<0853>白发苍苍<07872>、悲悲惨惨地<09002><07451>下<03381>(8689)阴间<07585>去了。』
And if ye take<03947>(8804) this also from<05973> me<06440>, and mischief<0611> befall him<07136>(8804), ye shall bring down<03381>(8689) my gray hairs<07872> with sorrow<07451> to the grave<07585>.
44:30 我父亲的命<05315>与这童子的命<09002><05315>相连<07194>(8803)。如今<06258>我回<09003><0935>(8800)到<0413>你仆人<05650>―我父亲<01>那里，若没有<0369>童子<05288>与我们<0854>同在，
Now therefore when I come<0935>(8800) to thy servant<05650> my father<01>, and the lad<05288> be not with us; seeing that his life<05315> is bound up<07194>(8803) in the lad's life<05315>;
44:31 {<01961>}{(8804)}我们的父亲见<09003><07200>(8800){<03588>}没有<0369>童子<05288>，他就必死<04191>(8804)。这便是我们<05650>使<0853>你仆人<05650>―我们的父亲<01>白发苍苍<07872>、悲悲惨惨地<09002><03015>下<03381>(8689)阴间<07585>去了。
It shall come to pass, when he seeth<07200>(8800) that the lad<05288> is not with us , that he will die<04191>(8804): and thy servants<05650> shall bring down<03381>(8689) the gray hairs<07872> of thy servant<05650> our father<01> with sorrow<03015> to the grave<07585>.
44:32 因为<03588>仆人<05650>曾向<04480><05973>我父亲<01>为<0853>这童子<05288>作保<06148>(8804)，说<09001><0559>(8800)：『我若<0518>不<03808>带他<0935>(8686)回来交给<0413>父亲，我便在父亲<09001><01>面前永远<03605><03117>担罪<02398>(8804)。』
For thy servant<05650> became surety<06148>(8804) for the lad<05288> unto<05973> my father<01>, saying<0559>(8800), If I bring<0935>(8686) him not unto thee, then I shall bear the blame<02398>(8804) to my father<01> for ever<03117>.
44:33 现在<06258>求你<04994>容仆人<05650>住下<03427>(8799)，替<08478>这童子<05288>作我主的<09001><0113>奴仆<05650>，叫童子<05288>和<05973>他哥哥们<0251>一同上去<05927>(8799)。
Now therefore, I pray thee, let thy servant<05650> abide<03427>(8799) instead of the lad<05288> a bondman<05650> to my lord<0113>; and let the lad<05288> go up<05927>(8799) with his brethren<0251>.
44:34 若<03588>童子<05288>不<0369>和我<0854>同去，我怎能<0349>上去<05927>(8799)见<0413>我父亲<01>呢？恐怕<06435>我看见<07200>(8799)灾祸<09002><07451>{<0834>}临到<04672>(8799){<0853>}我父亲身上<01>。」
For how<0349> shall I go up<05927>(8799) to my father<01>, and the lad<05288> be not with me? lest peradventure I see<07200>(8799) the evil<07451> that shall come on<04672>(8799) my father<01>. {come...: Heb. find my father}
