Second aorist middle infinitive of apotith(886d)i with the metaphor of putting off clothing or habits as apothesthe in Col 3:8 (which see) with the same addition of "the old man" ( on palaion anthr(9370)on) as in Col 3:9 . Either present middle or passive participle of phtheir(935c), but it is a process of corruption (worse and worse). |
